Ixion Saga Online PC Game Ends Service This Month

CAPCOM's fantasy action game inspired 25-episode TV anime in 2012-2013

The official site for CAPCOM's Ixion Saga online fantasy action PC game announced on Friday that the game will end service on November 30 at 2:00 p.m. in Japan (12:00 a.m. EST).

CAPCOM stopped selling in-game currency on Friday. The game will also suspend new member registration on November 30. At that time, players' currency and orb items will vanish, and CAPCOM will not refund players for unused currency or game items.

Additionally, the support desk will stop taking requests on December 28, and the support desk will end correspondence on January 25.

Ixion Saga inspired the 25-episode Ixion Saga DT (Dimension Transfer) TV anime series in October 2012. Crunchyroll streamed the anime worldwide outside of Japan as it aired.

The game and anime follow Kon Hokaze, a boy who embarks on a journey from our world to an alternate world known as Mira, which is full of a mysterious energy known as Alma. After saving Princess Ecarlate from attackers, he soon finds himself in the middle of a struggle over Alma.
