School Battle Anime 'Hundred' Reveals Debut Date, 2nd Video, Online Puzzle Game

The official website for the upcoming television anime of Jun Misaki's light novel series Hundred posted details on the broadcast premiere and the second promotional video on Sunday.

Charlotte: The Hundred is the only weapon that can fight against the race of mysterious life forms called "Savages." It changes depending on who's wielding it. However, it only has one ultimate goal: Protect humanity.
Hayato: This is... my Hundred.
Emil: I know you'll be able to win, Hayato!
Emil: GET OUT!!
Karen: If you try anything funny, I won't forgive you!
Claire: I challenge you to a duel!
Sakura: I've gotta make this the best concert ever! Look forward to it!
Woman: Three Savages detected. Their attribute values are unknown. We're picking up a big one...!

The website also revealed the show's key visual.

The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo on Monday, April 4 at 2:05 a.m. JST. The series will then run on the BS Japan and AT-X channels.

The site also launched an online puzzle game on Sunday titled "Hundred Puzzle Slayer." The game is free to play on PC and smartphone browsers, and it uses visuals from the show. The game will also add more visuals from different episodes.

Additionally, the site announced a card game with GREE. Those who pre-register for the game will receive an SR Sakura Kirishima card.

Tomoki Kobayashi (Akame ga KILL!, Utawarerumono) is directing the series at Production IMS. Hideki Shirane (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Date A Live) is handling series composition and Norie Tanaka (chief animation director for Absolute Duo, M3 the dark metal) is in charge of character design. Shuhei Naruse will compose the music for the anime and DIVE II Entertainment will handle music production.

The "ultimate school battle action" science-fiction comedy begins with the Hundred, the only weapon that can counter the mysterious Savage life form attacking Earth. To become a Slayer (master of military arts) who wields this Hundred, the main character Hayato Kisaragi successfully enrolls in the marine academy city ship Little Garden. However he feels a strange yet familiar sense of incongruity towards Emil Crossford, his roommate who somehow knows him from somewhere. On top of that, as soon as he enters the school, he is challenged to a duel by the "Queen" (the school's most powerful Slayer) Claire Harvey.
