Japanese vocal dance group Da-iCE to also appear at May 27-30 event

California's FanimeCon announced on Monday that it will host voice actor Masaya Matsukaze at the event.

Matsukaze has been working as an actor and voice actor since 1997. He has voiced Kyoya Ootori in Ouran High School Host Club, Gaelio Bauduin in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Mikami Teru in Death Note, Illumi Zoldyck in Hunter x Hunter, Zoiste in Sailor Moon Crystal, and Yasuhiro Hagakure in Danganronpa The Animation. He will also appear in the stage play adaptation of Danganronpa this year. He also voiced Ryo Hazuki in Shenmue: The Movie, based on the game series, and he will reprise his role in the Kickstarter-backed Shenmue III video game.

Matsukaze's Fanime appearance will mark his first convention appearance outside of Asia.

FanimeCon also recently announced that it will host Japanese vocal dance group Da-iCE. The group will perform as FanimeCon's MusicFest's Guest of Honor. Da-iCE (pronounced "dice") is a vocal dance group that formed in 2011. Da-iCE consists of Yūdai, Sōta, Taiki, Tōru, and Hayate. The group released their debut album FIGHT BACK in 2014, and released their second album EVERY SEASON on January 6.

FanimeCon will take place on May 27-30 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
