Square Enix began streaming the third episode of its Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV five-episode anime prequel on Thursday. The episode focuses on Gladiolus and his friendship with Noctis. The video below has subtitle options in English and seven other languages.

In addition, Square Enix began streaming a trailer for the "Final Fantasy XV Universe," which consists of the game, the Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV anime, the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV film, and the Justice Monsters Five smartphone game.

Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV is a prequel to the game, following the adventures of Noctis, Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto. A-1 Pictures is producing the animation, and Sōichi Masui (Chaika the Coffin Princess, Scrapped Princess) is directing. All five episodes of the anime will be available before the game's September 30 worldwide release.

Square Enix is streaming the series, and Crunchyroll is also streaming the show worldwide outside of Japan, China, French-speaking territories, and German-speaking territories. The first episode premiered on March 30 and the second premiered on June 14.

The game is also receiving a 3D CG feature-length film titled Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. The cast stars Aaron Paul, Sean Bean, and Lena Headey. The film will premiere in Japanese theaters on July 9. The Blu-ray Disc containing the film will ship in Japan on September 30, the same day the game ships. The English website for the CG film lists that the film is "coming soon to Blu-ray and digital."
