The official YouTube channel for Shueisha's Shonen Jump began streaming the special collaboration mini anime video of Akira Amano's Reborn! and ēlDLIVE manga on Thursday. The video, titled "24h," features the first anime footage of Reborn! in six years since the television anime's end in 2010, as well as the first anime footage of ēlDLIVE to be made public.

The anime debuted at the "Amano Akira Illustrations Exhibition" event, which is running in Tokyo from July 28 to August 9.

Viz Media released 16 volumes of the Reborn! manga in North America, and it describes the story:

When Reborn, a fedora-wearing, gun-toting toddler, arrives and says he's come to groom Tsuna for his future as boss of an Italian organized crime family, Tsuna is more than a little skeptical. But Reborn may have the "magic bullet" necessary to turn Tsuna's life around!

Amano launched Reborn! in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2004, and ended it in 2012. The manga's television anime adaptation ran from 2006 to 2010. Crunchyroll and Viz Media streamed the anime adaptation outside Japan.

Amano's ēlDLIVE manga launched in full color on Shonen Jump+'s predecessor app Jump Live in August 2013. The manga switched to Shonen Jump+ when the app launched in September 2014. Shueisha published the manga's fifth compiled book volume on March 4, and will ship the sixth volume on August 4. The manga will get a television anime in 2017 by Studio Pierrot.

Viz Media published the first three chapters of the manga in English digitally in September-October 2014 as part of its "Jump Start" initiative, and it describes the manga as follows:

"Mumbling" Chuta Kokonose doesn't have many friends. In fact, the only conversations he has anymore are with voices inside his head. Little does he know that this voice doesn't mean he's crazy. It just means he has an alien living inside his body!

The ēlDLIVE television anime adaptation will premiere in January.
