Yume Ōkoku to Nemureru 100-Nin no Ōji-sama Fantasy RPG App Gets Anime Shorts & TV Anime

posted on by Egan Loo

The Summer Festival 2016 event for GCREST's Yume Ōkoku to Nemureru 100-Nin no Ōji-sama (The Kingdom of Dreams and the 100 Sleeping Princes or "Yume-100" for short) smartphone puzzle role-playing game announced on Sunday that two major anime adaptation projects are launching. A series of anime shorts is slated for 2017, followed by a full television anime series in 2018. The announcement did not indicate how the 2017 anime shorts will be released.

The game, which launched on Android and iOS devices in 2015, is aimed at women with the theme of romance with a prince "that every woman dreams of." The game lets players experience love with 100 princes who live in the Kingdom of Dreams. Players solve puzzles to wake up the princes from their deep slumber. The cast of the princes include — with their characters from left to right below — Shōta Chōnan (Luke), Takeaki Masuyama (Medi), Kenichi Suzumura (Avi), Showtaro Morikubo (Byakuyō), Ayumu Murase (Hinata), Mamoru Miyano (Kairi), Sōichirō Hoshi (Shigure), and Daiki Yamashita.

Sunday's event also announced a major collaboration between the KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm anime film and the game this fall. The staff will announce more details in the near future.

In addition, Sunday event provided more information about the Oto-100 spinoff project. The Yume Ōkoku to Nemureru 100-Nin no Ōji-sama Oto-100 ~Vol. 1 Hōseki no Kuni (Country of Jewels) CD will go on sale on November 2 with a character song, character mini-drama, and original background music. This first volume will star — from left to right below — Lid (Kenji Akabane), Tiga (Daisuke Kishio), and Sai (Shōta Aoi).

The franchise will hold a "Yume Ōkoku to Nemureru 100-Nin no Ōji-sama Christmas Party" event in two sessions on December 24 at the Kanagawa Prefectural Civic Hall. Laforet Harajuku HMM store will host a pop-up shop with VR content in Tokyo next spring. The Super Groupies brand will unveil fashion accessories, bags, and shoes later this year. Finally, 7-Eleven stores nationwide will offer a Happy Kuji prize drawing in late October.
