posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
All series available in Japanese audio with English subtitles

Southeast Asian streaming service iflix added the Akame ga KILL!, No Game, No Life, and Soul Eater anime to its service on Wednesday. All series are available in Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Akame ga KILL! centers on Tatsumi, a young warrior who travels to the Imperial capital to join the military, and instead finds a world of corruption, decay, and brutality. Tatsumi encounters Night Raid, an assassin group that supports the efforts of a growing underground revolution. He joins their ranks after they reveal the true nature of the Imperial nobility to him. Among Night Raid's number is Akame, a reticent swordswoman who has a past as an Imperial assassin.

The anime premiered in Japan in July 2014. HERO TV aired the anime in the Philippines in August 2015.

The anime adapts the manga series written by Takahiro with art by Tetsuya Tashiro. Takahiro and Tashiro launched the manga in Square Enix's Monthly Gangan Joker magazine in 2010. The manga will end in its 15th volume.

iflix describes No Game, No Life:

Shiro and Sora and two shut-in blank name gamer siblings. They're the absolute best at what they do, shutting the real world outside because real life is an absolute bore. When a mysterious email transports them into another realm, they are thrown into a world where the common way of settling differences is by high-stake games. Now the pair of them have found a real challenge here, defeating the God of Games, Tet and taking his place.

The anime premiered in Japan in April 2014.

The anime is based Yuu Kamiya's light novel series. Kamiya launched the light novel series in 2012 with his own art after illustrating another light novel series that spawned an anime, A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives (Itsuka Tenma no Kuro-Usagi).

iflix describes Soul Eater:

Welcome to the Shinigami Technical School for Weapon Meisters, where duos consisting of a weapon meister and their human/weapon partner train to reach the “Death Scythe” level. How do they reach this aptly named ranking? By harvesting the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch. Easy peasy lemon squeezy? Actually no, the god of chaos is about trying to disrupt all their efforts.

The anime premiered in Japan in 2008. HERO TV aired the anime in the Philippines in April to June 2010.

The anime is based Atsushi Ohkubo's original manga. Ohkubo launched the manga in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine in 2004, and ended it in 2013. Ohkubo's spinoff manga of the series, Soul Eater Not!, also inspired a television anime in April 2014.
