Elex Media Licenses Noriko Ōtani's Sukutte Goran Goldfish Scooping Manga

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced last Friday that it has licensed Noriko Ōtani's Sukutte Goran (Try and Scoop Me) manga. The company will release the manga sometime in 2017.
The manga centers on Makoto Kashiba, a former elite employee of the KDS megabank in Tokyo who gets transferred to the bank's provincial Yamatokoriyama branch. He doesn't bother to hide his disappointment at the transfer as he walks along the new town. As he's looking for a place to rest, he comes upon a goldfish wholesaler, and sees the local hobby of competitive goldfish scooping. While at first, he pays the activity no mind, circumstances sweep him into the hobby, to the point where he considers participating in the National Goldfish Scooping Championship.
Ōtani launched the manga in Kodansha's Be Love magazine in September 2014, and ended it in January 2015. Kodansha published three compiled book volumes for the series.
