Azoland Pictures announced on Friday that it will host delayed screenings of the "Aqours First LoveLive! ~Step! ZERO to ONE~" concert of Love Live! Sunshine!!'s Aqours group. The event is the first major concert for the nine-girl Aqours group, which will take place on February 25 and 26 at the Yokohama Arena.

The U.S. theaters that will screen the film include (times are in local time):

  • Angelika Carmel Mountain (San Diego, CA) on March 4 at 11:00 a.m.
  • Angelika Pop-up (Washington DC) on March 4 at 2:00 p.m.
  • Village East Cinema (New York City) on March 5 at 12:00 p.m.
  • Angelika Film Center Dallas (Dallas, TX) on March 4 at 1:00 p.m.
  • Angelika Film Center Mosaic (Fairfax, VA) on March 4 at 2:00 p.m.

Azoland Pictures stated the concert will be filmed in high definition. Tickets to the U.S. screenings are available now. Azoland Pictures added that it will announce more theaters on its website and on the official Love Live! website that will screen the concert at a later date. Ticket holders will receive a "special giveaway item" at participating theaters while supplies last.

The official website for the Love Live! anime franchise had announced earlier on Friday that the concert will have theatrical live-screenings in eight countries, including: South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

"Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare/MIRAI TICKET," Aqours' seventh single, recently ranked #3 on Oricon's CD singles chart in its first week November. The single sold 36,579 copies in its first week.

The single is the group's seventh in a row to reach the top 5 on Oricon's weekly ranking charts, beginning with the group's first single, "Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru kai?," which ranked #3 with 48,000 copies in its first week in October 2015. The group's sixth single, "Yume de Yozora o Terashitai/Mijuku DREAMER," ranked #2 in September.

The Love Live! Sunshine!! anime premiered last July. Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Daisuki streamed the series outside of Japan.

The Love Live! Sunshine!! project was first announced in February 2015. The project's three key phrases are "Reader Participation," "Inspired by μ's," and "Seaside Town Setting." The group's name Aqours was chosen by fans by popular vote.
