Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas' Shiori Teshirogi Draws Manga Starring DC Comics Characters

DC Entertainment (DCE) president Diane Nelson and publisher Jim Lee appeared at a presentation for media and business partners in Japan on Thursday, and announced that a manga with DC characters will begin serializing in Akita Shoten's Champion RED magazine around this summer. Shiori Teshirogi (Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas - Meiō Shinwa) is drawing the series.
A major theme of the presentation was expanding DC's reach with younger generations and girls. The presentation also highlighted the upcoming Wonder Woman film that will open in Japan on August 25, as well as the Justice League film that will open in Japan on November 18. The Justice League film (pictured right) will feature DC heroes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg.
