posted on by Karen Ressler
World premiere scheduled for April 1

Sentai Filmworks announced on Wednesday that it will host the world premiere of the Anonymous Noise (Fukumenkei Noise) anime at Anime Boston on April 1. The screening will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT, and it will be available for free for the first 1,000 Anime Boston attendees. The company will offer a free gift for attendees and offer a chance to win more giveaways during the presentation.

The series will premiere in Japan on Tokyo MX on Tuesday, April 11 at 11:00 p.m., and also air on Kansai TV and BS Fuji. Sentai Filmworks will simulcast the series.

Sentai Filmworks describes the story:

Blessed with a beautiful voice, Nino only sings for one reason: to be found. Nino finds herself looking for two boys who left her without reason, Momo and Yuzu. By chance, all three of them end up in the same high school, and Nino discovers that her singing isn't in vain. As they rediscover their bonds, the group realizes that time changes many things, and sometimes certain things can't be repaired.

Hideya Takahashi (Keijo!!!!!!!!, Fantasista Stella) is directing the series at Brains Base (Natsume's Book of Friends, Durarara!!). Deko Akao (Snow White with the Red Hair, Noragami) is in charge of the series composition, and Mariko Itou is designing the characters for animation and serving as chief animation director. Sadesper Records (NARASAKI / Watchman) is in charge of the music.

The cast includes:

Ryoko Fukuyama's original shōjo manga is also inspiring a live-action film that will premiere in Japan on November 25.

Viz Media is publishing the manga in North America. Fukuyama launched the series in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine in April 2013. Hakusensha published the 12th volume on March 20.

Anime Boston will take place at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston from March 31 to April 2.
