Animax Asia began airing a commercial on Tuesday, which revealed that it will air the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable television anime. Animax Asia will air two episodes of the series every day on Wednesdays to Fridays starting on May 26 at 10:00 p.m. GMT +8.

The company also announced that its airing of the Chaos;Child anime will premiere on May 11. Animax Asia will air the series on Wednesdays to Fridays at 10:00 p.m. GMT+8.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable premiered in Japan in April 2016. The anime centers on Jōsuke Higashikata, a high school student in Morioh City, and illegitimate child of Joseph Joestar, the protagonist of previous JoJo's Bizarre Adventure stories. Jōsuke is one of a number of Stand users, individuals able to use unique powers. Together with his fellow Stand-wielding friends, Jōsuke investigates a series of bizarre crimes in Morioh City committed by an abnormal number of Stand users.

The first JoJo's Bizarre Adventure television anime aired from October to April 2012, and covered the first two parts of Hirohiko Araki's original manga. The manga's Part 3 inspired another television anime project from April to September 2014, and from January to June 2015.

The original manga by Hirohiko Araki is inspiring a live-action film that will open in Japan on August 4.

Chaos;Child premiered on January 11 and ended on March 29.

Masato Jinbo (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei!, Shomin Sample, Nozo × Kimi) directed the anime and also handled series composition. Kazuyuki Yamayoshi served as chief animation director and adapted Mitsumi Sasaki and Yukihiro Matsuo's character designs for animation. SILVER LINK animated the series. Takeshi Abo (Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes) and onoken (Accel World) composed the music.

Kanako Itou (Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes) performed the opening theme song "Uncontrollable," and Konomi Suzuki (Re:Zero, WATAMOTE) performed the ending theme song "Chaos Syndrome."

In the psycho-suspense story, after a magnitude-7.8 earthquake hits Tokyo's Shibuya ward on November 6, 2009, a black fire spreads and causes mass panic on the day of the earthquake. The sudden disaster that becomes known as the "Shibuya Earthquake" kills 3,851 people and injures 30,927 more.

The original game the anime is based on is set in a reconstructed Shibuya district in October 2015. A string of mysterious deaths occurs in Shibuya amidst the reconstruction. People begin to take notice as the strange events start on the same day that chaos broke out in Shibuya with a certain incident five years earlier. The events are called the "Return of the New Generation Madness."

The game is 5pb. and MAGES' fourth science-adventure title, after Chaos;HEAd, Steins;Gate, and Robotics;Notes.
