AnimeFest to Host Rock Band LM.C

Dallas anime convention AnimeFest announced on Tuesday that rock band LM.C will attend the convention as guests. The band will have a concert during the convention on August 18 at the Majestic Theatre, and will also hold a Q&A panel and autograph sessions.
The band consists of vocalist Maya and guitarist Aiji. The band debuted in 2006 with two singles titled "Trailers (Gold)" and "Trailers (Silver)." The band has since released 19 singles and 10 albums. The band has performed theme songs for such anime as Red Garden, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, and Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital.
AnimeFest 2017 will be held at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel from August 17-20. The convention's guests also include director Sayo Yamamoto, co-creator Mitsurou Kubo, and character designer and animation director Tadashi Hiramatsu from the Yuri!!! on Ice television anime, as well as voice actress Atsumi Tanezaki, and scriptwriter Dai Sato. The convention will also host writer and director Kenji Kamiyama, animation director Motonobu Hori, mechanical designer Shigeto Koyama, creature designer Christophe Ferreira, and producer Yoshiki Sakurai from the Ancien and the Magic Tablet (Hirune Hime: Shiranai Watashi no Monogatari) anime film.
