Funimation to Release Space Patrol Luluco, Super Lovers Anime on Home Video

FUNimation Entertainment is listing home video releases for the Space Patrol Luluco and Super Lovers anime. The Blu-ray Disc/DVD combo pack for Space Patrol Luluco is slated for October 10 and it is listed with an English dub. The Blu-ray Disc/DVD combo pack for the first Super Lovers television anime and original video anime (OVA) is slated for October 17 and is listed with Japanese audio only.
Funimation confirmed the details of both releases with ANN.
The Space Patrol Luluco television anime premiered on April 1, 2016 and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. Crunchyroll describes the series:
Luluco is a normal junior high school girl whose father is a detective at the space patrol. One day, she visits the Ogikubo branch of the space patrol to save her father who is suddenly frozen. But she happens to be assigned as a space patrol by the chief director Overjustice. Wearing a space patrol suit with strange functions, will she able to save her father and keep the peace of Ogikubo from space criminals? And will she fulfill her life as a junior high school student, including love and study?
Studio Trigger and Hiroyuki Imaishi are credited with the original work, and Imaishi directed the series and oversaw the scripts. Akira Amemiya (Inferno Cop) served as second director, and Hiromi Wakabayashi (setting production for Gurren Lagann, script for Inferno Cop, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) was the creative director. Mago and Yusuke Yoshigaki (Ninja Slayer From Animation, Black Rock Shooter) designed the characters, Shigeto Koyama (design for Gurren Lagann, Eureka Seven, mecha design for Star Driver) handled the "Justice design," and Yoshigaki and Shūhei Handa (Kill la Kill, Terra Formars) were the chief animation directors.
The anime adaptation of Miyuki Abe's boys-love manga Super Lovers ran for 10 episodes beginning in April 2016, and a 10-episode second season premiered on January 12. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons as they aired in Japan. The manga's 10th volume also bundled a "premium anime DVD" in January, and the 11th volume will bundle a DVD in September.

Fooled into coming overseas by news of his mother's imminent death, high school student Kaido Haru encounters a boy who insists that he's his brother. Shinji Ishihira (Fairy Tail, Tenbatsu Angel Rabbie, Log Horizon) helmed the TV anime at Studio DEEN. Yoshiko Nakamura (Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Hakuōki, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun) supervised the series scripts. Miki Takihara (Squid Girl, Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Yuri Kuma Arashi) designed the characters, and Nippon Columbia produced the music.
