'14-Sai to Illustrator' Novel by 'How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord' Author Gets Manga

Novel focuses on light novel illustrator and 14-year-old assistant

Keeji Mizoguchi, the illustrator of Yukiya Murasaki's 14-Sai to Illustrator light novel series, revealed on November 22 that the novel series will get a manga series that will run on Cygames' Cycomi app. The wraparound jacket band for the fourth novel revealed last Saturday that Kamelie is drawing the manga, and that it will debut this winter.

The official Twitter account for Media Factory's MF Bunko J imprint posted the manga's character designs:

The novels center on Yūto Kyōbashi, an illustrator for light novels who has a particular fetish for navels. He meets a 14-year-old cosplayer named Nonoka Nogi, who is a fan of his illustrations, and begins helping him out with his housework. The story shows Yūto and his colleagues, which include his editor and other light novel and adult game illustrators.

Murasaki published the first novel in November 2016.

J-Novel Club is publishing Murasaki's How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord light novel series in English, and Seven Seas will publish Naoto Fukuda's manga adaptation.

Mizoguchi previously illustrated Hajime Kamoshida's The Pet Girl of Sakurasou light novels, which inspired a television anime in 2012. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks released the series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
