Cardfight!! Vanguard Gets New Spinoff Manga Series

A new Cardfight!! Vanguard spinoff manga titled Another Vanguard: Seidō no Asuka will launch in the January issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Bushiroad magazine on Friday. "Another Vanguard" is a new label for Cardfight!! Vanguard manga.
The manga is an expansion of Haruha Mitsukoshi's "Cardfight!! Vanguard SS (Shooting Star) manga, which won Bushiroad's Vanguard Manga Contest in June and appeared in Monthly Bushiroad in three parts earlier this year. Mitsukoshi is drawing the manga and Kabuto Chūjō is handling composition.
Bushiroad's Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise also includes the trading card game, several television anime, a 2010 live-action television adaptation, and several stage plays. Monthly Bushiroad also publishes Akira Itō and Raiti Hirakazu's Cardfight!! Vanguard G Stride Generation manga and Quily's four-panel Mini Van (Mini Vanguard) manga spinoff. The latter inspired its own Flash animein 2013, and a sequel in 2015. Itō's main Cardfight!! Vanguard manga ended its "high school student arc" in April.
Bushiroad is releasing the card game in English as well as producing the official English dub of the anime. The English dub of the Cardfight!! Vanguard GZ anime began streaming on November 25.
