Kachidoki Studio Produces 4 Anime for Production I.G's 'Vertical Anime' App

Studio celebrating 10th anniversary already produces Neko no Rob anime for app

The Kachidoki Studio anime studio announced on February 5 that it is producing the Quiz Tokiko-san anime for Production I.G's Tate Anime (Vertical Anime) app. Quiz Tokiko-san premiered on February 7, with new episodes debuting weekly.

The anime also airs weekly on Chukyo TV within the Hayariba program, but is being reproduced for the vertical format of the Tate Anime app. The anime follows Tokiko, whose job is to create quizzes.

Additionally, Kachidoki Studio is also producing the Kekkeroke anime for the app. The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX starting in April, but will also have a vertical version for the Tate Anime app that will premiere in April. Emi Nitta and Riho Iida are performing all the roles in the anime. Kōhei Kawamura is directing the series, and Emily Kafka is writing the scripts. Yū Saitō is directing the sound at Chance iN. The anime follows the frogs Kekkero and Ke who try to find their 998 other siblings.

Kachidoki Studio is also producing the Neko Konogoro anime for the app in March, starring Marin Kunari. The popular character by STUDY already has merchandise and LINE stamps, and a television anime that premiered in 2016. In May, the studio will premiere the Aisukuritarō anime about an ice cream character on the app. The anime premiered on television within Asahi Broadcasting's Enkame: That's Enka Tainment program in October 2017, and is being reproduced for the app.

Kachidoki Studio also produced the Neko no Rob anime on the app, which premiered on January 12 and is ongoing. The studio is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

The Tate Anime app launched this past June. The app offers short (about three-minute) anime that update on weekdays, and each series has 10 episodes. The new anime are presented vertically for smartphones. The app is aimed at people who do not have time to watch television or do not own a television.
