Details still unconfirmed

Anime UK News reports that the Showcase cinema chain has a listing for Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Kōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Awakening Path). This is the first of the planned compilation film trilogy based on the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 anime series.

The Showcase link claims that the film will be released on Wednesday March 21, and gives booking links for numerous cinemas, in Peterborough, Natgarw, Reading, Bluewater, Bristol, Coventry, Derby, Leeds, Leicester, Nottingham, Southampton, Dudley, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Paisley, Teesside and Walsall.

However, as of writing, there is no listing for the film on the launchingfilms website run by the Film Distributors Association. Anime UK News reports that Anime Limited will make an announcement on the film.

The video below previews some of the new footage created for the first film, which opened in Japan on October 21 2017

The Showcase link gives cinemas in Peterborough, Natgarw, Reading, Bluewater, Bristol, Coventry, Derby, Leeds, Leicester, Nottingham, Southampton, Liverpool, Manchester, Paisley, Teesside and Walsall.
