your name., Speed Racer Nominated for Saturn Awards

The Saturn Awards, the awards which honor the best science fiction, horror and fantasy movies and television programs of the year, have nominated your name. and Speed Racer for awards this year. your name. is up for Best Animated Film Release while the FUNimation Entertainment's Speed Racer collector's edition is up for Best DVD/BD Special Edition Release.
Other nominees for Best Animated Film include Cars 3, Coco, Despicable Me 3, and The Boss Baby. Other Special Edition nominees include releases of Lost Horizon, The Lost World, Night of the Living Dead, Re-Animator, and Suspira.
Funimation Films screened Makoto Shinkai's your name. film in North America beginning in April, and released the film on home video in November. The film opened in Japan in August 2016, and screened in Los Angeles that December to qualify for the Academy Awards that year (but it was not nominated).
Funimation also released its Speed Racer collector's edition (pictured right) last November. The Blu-ray Disc set contains both the original Japanese Mach Go Go Go anime and the English localized version Speed Racer.
44th Annual Saturn Awards Ceremony will present the winners this June.
