Go Nagai Ends Gekiman! Mazinger Z-hen Manga

The 2,606th issue of Nihonbungeisha's Weekly Manga Goraku magazine revealed on March 23 that Gō Nagai will end his Gekiman! Mazinger Z-hen (Gekiman! Mazinger Z Chapter) manga in its next chapter, which will appear in the magazine's 2,608th issue on April 6.
The manga resumed under the title Gekiman! Z & Great-hen (Gekiman! Z & Great Chapter) on January 12. The magazine had revealed in October that Nagai would resume the manga this year.
Nagai launched the Gekiman! Mazinger Z-hen (Gekiman!: Mazinger Z Chapter) manga in the same magazine in July 2014, and ended it in July 2016 with five volumes. The story focuses on the action manga's creation and the events in Nagai's life during that time.
Nagai's Gekiman! manga, which provides a similarly autobiographical account of the creation of the Devilman manga, ran in the magazine from 2010 to 2012, and Nihonbungeisha published six compiled book volumes.
Nagai launched the Gekiman! Cutie Honey-hen manga in Weekly Manga Goraku in July 2016, and ended the series on September 29. Nihonbungeisha published the manga's third compiled book volume on January 9.
