K: Seven Stories Film Series Casts Yui Ogura, Shinichiro Miki, Satomi Akesaka

Fushimi's relatives cast in 4th in 6-part film series

The official website for GoRA and GoHands' K franchise opened sections for the fourth and fifth parts in the six-part K: Seven Stories theatrical anime project on Wednesday. The new sections feature key visuals for both movies, as well as additional characters and their cast members for the fourth film, Lost Small World ~Ori no Mukō ni (To the Other Side of the Cage).

The additional cast members and their characters are:

Yui Ogura as Aya Oogai, Fushimi's second cousin who is the same age

Shinichiro Miki as Niki Fushimi, Fushimi's father

Satomi Akesaka as Kisa Fushimi, Fushimi's mother

Below are the new key visuals for the fourth and fifth parts:

The official K fan club, K Fan Clan, will start selling tickets for these two parts with special ticket cases on Saturday.

In addition, participating theaters will start selling tickets for those two parts on April 28.

The first film in the six-part project, R:B ~Blaze~, will open in theaters in Japan on July 7, and it stars:

  • Kenjiro Tsuda as Mikoto Suoh
  • Tomokazu Sugita as Reisi Munakata
  • Takahiro Sakurai as Izumo Kusanagi
  • Yuuki Kaji as Tatara Totsuka
  • Taku Yashiro as Daichi Yamata
  • Miyuki Sawashiro as Seri Awashima

SIDE:BLUE ~Tenrō no Gotoku opens on August 4, and stars:

  • Tomokazu Sugita as Reisi Munakata
  • Kenjiro Tsuda as Gōki Zenjō
  • Shimba Tsuchiya as Takeru Kusuhara
  • Hiroshi Kamiya as Jin Habari
  • Tomoaki Maeno as Gen Shiotsu
  • Miyuki Sawashiro as Seri Awashima
  • Mamoru Miyano as Saruhiko Fushimi

SIDE:GREEN ~Uwagaki Sekai~ opens on September 1, and stars:

  • Kazuyuki Okitsu as Nagare Hisui
  • Rie Kugimiya as Skukuna Gojo
  • Masakazu Morita as Yukari Mishakuji
  • Houchu Ohtsuka as Tenkei Iwafune
  • Kaori Nazuka as Douhan Hirasaka
  • Hiro Shimono as Kotosaka

The schedule for the rest of the episodes is:

  • Episode 4 Lost Small World ~Ori no Mukō ni (To the Other Side of the Cage) opens on October 6
  • Episode 5 Memory of Red ~BURN~ opens on November 3
  • Episode 6 Circle Vision ~Nameless Song~ opens on December 1

A The Idol K anime short will also screen alongside each episode. The shorts will star:

  • Daisuke Namikawa as Yashiro Isana
  • Daisuke Ono as Kuroh Yatogami
  • Kenjiro Tsuda as Mikoto Suoh
  • Jun Fukuyama as Misaki Yata
  • Tomokazu Sugita as Reisi Munakata
  • Mamoru Miyano as Saruhiko Fushimi
  • Kazuyuki Okitsu as Nagare Hisui
  • Masakazu Morita as Yukari Mishakuji

GoRA and GoHands produced two compilation videos lasting two hours each that compile the story of both the original K television anime and the K: Return of Kings sequel, titled K All in One Edition~Master in 2 Hours~ and K RETURN OF KINGS All in One Edition ~Master in 2 Hours~, respectively. Both anime are streaming on Nico Nico, Docomo Anime Store, Rakuten TV, U-NEXT, Video Market, DMM.com, music.jp, Bandai Channel, and other services on April 11. AT-X will also air both videos on June 17 and July 1, respectively, along with airing the K: Missing Kings anime film on June 24.

Viz Media licensed the six-part film project. Viz's license for the K franchise also includes digital streaming, EST, home video, and merchandising rights for both anime television series and the K: Missing Kings film.

Shingo Suzuki is returning as director and character designer at the studio GoHands the anime. GoRA and GoHands are once again credited for the original story. GoRA is also credited with writing and oveerseeing the series scripts. Mikio Endo is again composing the music. Music group angela is performing all six ending theme songs — one for each of the six parts. The group is also performing the opening theme song "SURVIVE!" for all six parts. Each of the ending theme songs is named after each part's subtitle.

K: Memory of Red is a title of a manga in the franchise, and K SIDE:BLUE, K:SIDE:GREEN, and K: R:B are titles of novels in the franchise. K: Lost Small World is both a novel and a manga. Idol K is a parody book that reimagines if the characters in the franchise were all idols. The sixth episode will tell a new story.
