Megumi Nakajima performs opening song, joins cast alongside Juri Nagatsuma

The official website for the television anime of Nekoume's four-panel romantic comedy manga Miss caretaker of Sunohara-sou (Sunohara-Sō no Kanrinin-san) began streaming a promotional video for the anime on Wednesday. The video previews the anime's opening theme song "Bitter Sweet Harmony" by Megumi Nakajima, and also reveals two new cast members, and the anime's July 5 premiere date.

The additional cast includes: (Note: Character name romanizations are not official.)

Megumi Nakajima as Maiko Osonoi, a schoolmate of Nana. She is cheerful, with a bright personality, and likes younger guys.

Juri Nagatsuma as Ichia Naitō, a schoolmate of Nana. She has a bit of a perverted side, and likes younger guys.

The anime will premiere on AT-X, Tokyo MX, and BS11 on July 5.

The previously revealed cast members include:

Rina Satō as Ayaka Sunohara

Eri Kitamura as Aki Shiina

Ayane Sakura as Ayaka's little sister Nana

Natsumi Takamori as Yuzu Yukimoto, a resident of Sunohara dormitory, and the student council president of Tanamachi Middle School. She is an honor student and popular, but is self-conscious about her height.

Asami Seto as Sumire Yamanashi, a resident of Sunohara dormitory, and the student council vice president of Tanamachi Middle School. She is tall, with a good figure, and a somewhat detached personality, but likes cute things.

Yume Miyamoto as Yuri Kazami, a resident of Sunohara dormitory, and the student council secretary of Tanamachi Middle School. She likes sewing clothes and photography, and she always smiles. However, there is something behind her smile.

Shizuka Itou as Nishiki Yao, the owner of the liquor shop where Ayaka helps out. She inherited the shop from her grandfather.

Ai Kayano as Matsuri Shiina, Aki's older sister. She's reliable but she also has a childish side. She dotes on her little brother.

Shin Oonuma (ef: a tale of memories, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Kokoro Connect) is the anime's chief director. Mirai Minato (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Masamune-kun's Revenge) is directing the anime at SILVER LINK (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Brave Witches), with Keisuke Inoue (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya setting production, Masamune-kun's Revenge episode director) as assistant director.

Fumihiko Shimo (The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, Kokoro Connect, New Game!) is in charge of series composition. Kazuya Hirata (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!, Gekijōban Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Sekka no Chikai) is drawing the character designs. Ruka Kawada (If Her Flag Breaks, Is the order a rabbit?) is composing the music. Flying Dog is in charge of music production.

Voice actress and singer Shino Shimoji will perform the show's ending theme song "Sonna no Boku Ja Nai" (I'm Not That Kind of Person).

The manga centers around Aki Shiina, a middle school boy who wants to be more manly. The story follows the relationships between Aki Shiina and Ayaka Sunohara (the maternal caretaker of the Sunohara dormitory), as well as Aki's older female schoolmates.

Nekoume launched the manga in Ichijinsha's Manga 4-Koma Palette magazine in 2014, and a drama CD shipped with the manga's second compiled book volume in July 2016. Ichijinsha published the manga's third volume last November.
