Nekopara Illustrator Sayori, Spice & Wolf Manga Artist Keito Koume to Attend Anime Expo

Anime Expo announced on Tuesday that it will host Nekopara illustrator and creator Sayori at this year's event. Publisher FAKKU additionally announced on Thursday that it will host Spice & Wolf manga artist Keito Koume.
Sayori is attending the event in collaboration with Sekai Project, and will have an autograph session. Sekai Project released Neko Works' Nekopara Vol. 1 visual novel on PC via Steam in December 2014. The company also released the Nekopara Vol. 0 fandisc prequel on PC in August 2015, and the Nekopara Vol. 2 game in February 2016. Neko Works released Nekopara Vol. 3 in Japan in May 2017, and Sekai Project released the game on Steam in English on the same day.
The game series has sold more than 2 million copies. The game inspired an OVA funded through a Kickstarter campaign that launched in December.
CFK's PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch version of Nekopara Vol. 1 will launch on July 4 in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
Koume launched the Spice & Wolf manga in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine in 2007, and ended the series on December 27.
FAKKU is working with Koume to create the "Koume Keito Box Set," which will debut at Anime Expo. The set will feature three adult dōjin comics from Koume in English, available uncensored in English for the first time. Koume will also host two autograph sessions and a Q&A panel at the event. Koume also drew a thank-you postcard for the event, which FAKKU will give away at its booth.
This year's Anime Expo will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 5 to July 8, with a pre-show event on July 4.
