Robot × Laserbeam, ZIGA Manga Both End in Shōnen Jump

Kuroko's Basketball's Fujimaki launched Robot × Laserbeam in March 2017

This year's 30th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine published the final chapter on Monday of both Tadatoshi Fujimaki's Robot × Laserbeam manga and Rokurō Sano and Kentarō Hidano's ZIGA manga.

Robot × Laserbeam centers on a boy who is nicknamed "Robo" because he shows no emotion and acts like a machine. When his only friend tries golf and is bullied by more experienced players, Robo accepts a challenge to take up a golf club himself, and his methodical nature works to his advantage.

Fujimaki launched the manga in March 2017. Viz Media previewed the first three chapters of the manga, then added it to its digital Weekly Shonen Jump lineup in April 2017.

The manga's sixth volume will ship on July 4, and the seventh volume will ship on September 4. The manga's fifth volume had revealed on May 2 that the series has 700,000 copies in print.

Fujimaki serialized his Kuroko's Basketball manga in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2008-2014.

ZIGA debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump on March 19. Viz Media published the first three chapters in English as part of its Jump Start initiative.

Weekly Shonen Jump describes the series:

Ko Hachigane is a boy who has a bright and satisfying school life, but on the other hand, he struggles as he sees a nightmare every night of him being crushed by a monster. He spends his days puzzled with his childhood friend, Seira, until a mysterious scientist named Banno comes to give him a warning one day.

"Your dream is a prophecy, you are destined to fight."

The manga's first volume will ship in Japan on July 4, and the second volume will ship on September 4 with an epilogue chapter.
