Magical Girl Site Sept Spinoff Manga Ends on August 23

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Toshinori Sogabe launched spinoff of horror manga last October

The latest chapter for Toshinori Sogabe's Mahō Shōjo Site Sept (Magical Girl Site Sept) spinoff manga on Akita Shoten's Champion Tap! manga website announced on Wednesday that the manga will end with its next chapter on August 23.

The manga centers on the doubles pair in Shinzen middle school's tennis team, the girls Tsurara Takahashi and Hyōka Nagatsuki, as they both encounter the "Magical Girl Site" and gain the power of magical girls.

Sogabe (Ah My Buddha, Amaenaideyo!!) launched the manga on the Champion Tap! website last October, and Akita Shoten published the manga's first compiled book volume on April 6. The manga is a spinoff of Kentarō Satō's Magical Girl Site (Mahō Shōjo Site) manga.

Sogabe recently ended his manga adaptation of Ichiro Sakaki's Scrapped Princess novels on May 11.

Satō (Magical Girl Apocalypse) launched the original Magical Girl Site horror manga on the Champion Tap! manga website in July 2013, before moving it to Weekly Shōnen Champion last September. Akita Shoten published the manga's 10th compiled book volume on May 8, and will ship the 11th volume on August 8. Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the manga in English, and it shipped the sixth volume on May 15.

The manga inspired a television anime that premiered on April 6 and ended in June. The anime streamed on Amazon Prime Video outside of Japan.
