Ryū Shihara draws new RAiSe! The story of my music manga

This year's March issue of Bushiroad's Monthly Bushiroad magazine published the final chapter of Mami Kahiwabara's BanG! Dream manga on Friday. The same issue launched a new BanG Dream! manga titled RAiSe! The story of my music, based on the band RAISE A SUILEN. Ryū Shihara is drawing the new manga and Ko Nakamura is credited with the original story.

Kashiwabara (Sora no Manimani) launched the BanG Dream! (Comic-hen BanG Dream! Bandori) manga manga in Monthly Bushiroad in April 2016. Nakamura is credited with the original story, and ISSEN is credited with the original work.

Shogakukan Asia publishes the manga in English and describes the story:

Kasumi Toyama has always been captivated by the "beat of the stars". Since then, she's been searching for something... a spark that'll excite and thrill her! Following a trail of star-shaped stickers, she soon stumbles upon a Random Star guitar at her school mate's house! Could this mark the start of something amazing? A sparkling, heart-racing high school life begins for Kasumi as she decides to form a band!

Nakamura launched a manga titled BanG_Dream! Star Beat in Monthly Bushiroad in January 2015. Hakuto Shiroi also launched a separate BanG Dream! manga, Yon-koma Bandori! (4-panel BanG Dream!) in Kadokawa's Dengeki G's Comic in 2016.

Bushiroad launched the BanG Dream! multimedia project in January 2015. Bushiroad formed the Poppin' Party band for the project in February 2015. The band's members consist of voice actresses who portray the characters in the story, and play the same instruments as their characters. A 13-episode television anime series premiered in Japan in 2017. A second season premiered in January and a third season is slated for October.
