Kiss and White Lily for My Dearest Girl, Penguin Highway Manga End

The April issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine published the final chapters of Canno's Kiss and White Lily for My Dearest Girl, Keito Yano's penguin highway, Masahiko Yoshihara's Kuromori-san wa Sumaho ga Tsukaenai, and Meme Yoimachi's A Place Further Than the Universe manga on February 27.

Yen Press is publishing Kiss and White Lily for My Dearest Girl (Ano Ko ni Kiss to Shirayuri o) in English, and it describes the manga:

Two girls, a new school, and the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

In middle school, Ayaka Shiramine was the perfect student: hard-working, with excellent grades and a great personality to match. As Ayaka enters high school she expects to still be on top, but one thing she didn't account for is her new classmate, the lazy yet genuine genius Yurine Kurosawa. What's in store for Ayaka and Yurine as they go through high school together?

Canno began the series in Monthly Comic Alive in November 2013, and Kadokawa shipped the ninth compiled volume last September, with the 10th and final volume slated for March 23. Yen Press released the manga's seventh volume last October.

Yano's penguin highway adapts Tomihiko Morimi's novel of the same title. Yen Press has licensed the original novel, and it describes the story:

Fourth-grader Aoyama investigates the mysterious reason behind the sudden appearance of penguins in his village. Is it somehow related to the power of a young woman working at a dental clinic?

Yano launched the manga in Monthly Comic Alive last May, and Kadokawa published the manga's second volume last December. The manga's third volume is slated for May 23.

Morimi published the original novel in 2010. The novel inspired an anime film adaptation by director Hiroyasu Ishida and Studio Colorido that opened in Japan last August. Eleven Arts held the film's United States premiere at Crunchyroll Expo in September. Eleven Arts' United States screenings of the film will begin on April 12. Screenings will begin in Canada on April 19.

The Kuromori-san wa Sumaho ga Tsukaenai (Kumori Can't Use A Smartphone) manga's story begins when hapless boy Suzuki happens to see his classmate Kisaki Kuromori fall out of the sky, and he saves her. Kuromori claims to be descended from a long line of witches (explaining her bringing a broom to school every day), but due to circumstances, is unable to actually use machines.

Yoshihara launched the manga in Monthly Comic Alive in November 2017, and Kadokawa published the manga's second volume last September. The manga's third and final volume is slated for March 23.

Yoshihara's two-volume Sakurada Reset: Cat, Ghost and Revolution Sunday manga ran in Kadokawa's Shōnen Ace magazine. Kadokawa published the manga's second volume in November 2011. The manga adapted the first volume of Yutaka Kōno's Sagrada Reset light novel series. The same light novel volume later inspired a new manga by Tatsu Nohana that launched on Kadokawa's Comic Clear website in February 2017, and ended on January 18.

Kōno's teen science-fiction/fantasy light novel series inspired a 24-episode television anime series that premiered in April 2017. The novels also inspired a two-part live-action film project that opened in Japan in March and May 2017, respectively.

The March issue of Comic Alive had revealed last month that the A Place Further Than the Universe manga would end in the April issue.
