Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki Anime's TV Ad Previews Haruka Tomatsu's Theme Song

Anime about Nagoya premieres on April 4

The official website for the television anime of Masaki Andō's Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki (Yatogame-chan Observation Diary) four-panel manga began streaming a commercial for the series on Sunday. The commercial reveals and previews Haruka Tomatsu's theme song "Deluxe Deluxe Happy."

The series will premiere on April 4 at 7:53 p.m. on TV Aichi, and will air a few days later on Tokyo MX and AT-X. The series will also stream in Japan on d Anime Store, Niconico, Fuji on Demand, U-NEXT, Anitere, and Hikari TV.

The series stars:

Hisayoshi Hirasawa (Miss Bernard said., Netsuzou Trap -NTR-, Jingai-san no Yome) is the chief director for the anime at Saetta, with Creators in Pack and LEVELS credited for animation production cooperation. Satsuki Hayasaka (Hinako Note, High School DxD Hero episode animation director) is designing the characters and WORDS in STEREO is credited for the series composition.

The manga centers on the life of Yatogame-chan, a girl who speaks in the blunt Nagoya dialect. The series highlights regional cultural differences from the area of Nagoya, Aichi.

Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex magazine publishes the manga. Ichijinsha published the manga's fifth compiled book volume last November. The series has more than 200,000 copies in circulation, including digital copies. The manga's title character was appointed as Nagoya Tourism Cultural Exchange Mission Ambassador in March 2017.
