The Ancient Magus' Bride Released Monday

On Monday April 1, Manga Entertainment will release the first volume of The Ancient Magus' Bride on Blu-ray and DVD, carrying the first twelve episodes of the series. The story, based on the manga by Kore Yamazaki, involves Chise Hatori, a 15-year-old orphan, who has no relatives, means, or hopes when a demonic sorcerer who can't become human buys her. He states that Chise will now be his apprentice and bride.
MVM will release the series Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu on Blu-ray. The series begins in 1863, when Japan is split between the pro-shogunate and anti-shogunate factions. The fate of the world is threatened as an army of historical revisionists are sent from the future to alter the course of history. In order to bring these forces down and protect the real history, two sword warriors, spirits who are swords brought to life, rush to Edo. It is a spinoff from DMM's Touken Ranbu "sword personification training game", which takes famous swords from Japanese history and interprets them as bishōnen.
Anime Limited will release a standard Blu-ray edition of The Testament of Sister New Devil BURST.
