posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Anime premieres on October 12 with Funimation stream

Funimation revealed an English-dubbed trailer for the fourth anime season based on Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga at its Comic-Con International: San Diego panel on Thursday. IGN is exclusively streaming the trailer.

The anime will premiere on October 12, and will air on YTV and NTV on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. Funimation screened the English dub premiere of the anime at the Anime Expo event on July 6. Funimation will stream the season as it airs in Japan.

Shinichirō Miki will play Sir Nighteye in the fourth season, after the voice actor made an uncredited cameo as the character in the previous season's finale. Rie Murakawa will play Bubble Girl.

The anime's first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016, and then the 25-episode second season premiered in April 2017. The 25-episode third season premiered in April 2018, and Funimation also streamed the English dub of the third season. Crunchyroll and Hulu streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired in Japan. The My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film opened in Japan last August. The franchise is receiving a second film titled Boku no Hero Academia the Movie -Heroes: Rising- that will open on December 20.
