Rina Yagami launches Muteki no Banken ni Kamitsukaremashite love story manga

This year's 19th issue of Shogakukan's Sho-Comi magazine revealed on Thursday that Rina Yagami is launching a new manga titled Muteki no Banken ni Kamitsukaremashite (Bite Me, Invincible Watchdog) in the magazine's next issue on September 20. The manga's first chapter will have 39 pages, including color opening pages, and it will also be showcased on the issue's front cover.

The magazine describes the manga as a thrilling love story. The magazine hints at the story centering on Ryо̄ma, a young, charismatic boy known as the "strongest mad dog," and Hiyori, a high school girl who lives in the same apartment building as Ryо̄ma. Although Hiyori planned to live an ordinary school life with friends, that ordinary life gets destroyed as she is taken to an unknown world by the hands of Ryо̄ma. Ryо̄ma, the uncontrollable "mad dog" without rules, guards Hiyori.

Yagami launched the Wake Atte Kinō Ubawaremashita (I Was Taken Away Yesterday For Some Reason) manga in Sho-Comi in June 2018. The manga ended on August 5. Shogakukan published the manga's fourth compiled book volume on June 26, and it will publish the fifth volume on September 26.

Yagami launched the Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu (My Big Brother Loves Me So Much It's a Problem) manga in Sho-Comi in 2015 and ended it in March 2018. Shogakukan published the manga's 11th and final volume in May 2018. A live-action film adaptation of the manga, starring Ryōta Katayose, Tao Tsuchiya, and Yudai Chiba, opened in Japan in June 2017. The film debuted at #3 at the Japanese box office.
