Both anime premiere on Thursday

Crunchyroll announced on Monday that it will stream the Assassins Pride and Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE anime.

Assassins Pride will launch on Crunchyroll on Thursday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m. EDT for users in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East.

Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime, and it describes the story:

In a world where only nobles wield the sacred power of mana to wage war against the creatures of darkness, a curious absence of ability places young Merida in a precarious position. Under the guise of tutelage, Kufa, a ruthless assassin, is sent to assess Merida's abilities and determine if she is the true-born heir of the prestigious Angel family. If she does not measure up to her family's expectations, another, more ruthless plan will be set in motion…

The anime will premiere in Japan on AT-X on October 10 at 11:30 p.m., before debuting later that night on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS NTV.

Kazuya Aiura (episode director on Citrus, My Sister, My Writer) is directing the anime at EMT Squared (The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar, Kuma Miko: Girl Meets Bear). Deko Akao (Amanchu!, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Noragami) is in charge of the series scripts, and Maho Yoshikawa (Amnesia, Yona of the Dawn) is serving as both character designer and chief animation director. Yoshiko Saitō (A Certain Magical Index III) is serving as sub-character designer and also chief animation director. Voice actress unit Run Girls, Run! is performing the anime's opening song "Share the light." Tomori Kusunoki, who voices Melida Angel, is performing the ending theme song "Ijin-tachi no Jikan" (Time of Foreigners).

Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE will launch on Crunchyroll on Thursday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m. EDT for users in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East.

The first two episodes of the anime will begin streaming on Sunrise's new "Gundam Channel" YouTube channel starting on October 10 at 8:00 p.m. JST. It will also premiere on television in Japan on BS11 on October 12 at 7:00 p.m.

The anime is set two years after the story of Gundam Build Divers, with a new version of the "Gunpla Battle Nexus Online" (GBN) game, and new Divers: Hiroto, a lone Diver who plays like a mercenary; Kazami, a wanderer who goes between parties; May, a mysterious solo Diver who participates in Gunpla Battles all day; and Parviz, a beginner Diver who has an introverted attitude but desires co-op play. While all four live solitary existences, they are brought together by circumstance to form a team in an experience that goes beyond GBN.

Shinya Watada is returning from Gundam Build Divers to direct the new anime at Sunrise Beyond. Yasuyuki Mutō (Mobile Suit Gundam UC) is in charge of the series scripts. Kazuhiro Hara (Log Horizon) is drawing the original character designs, and Shuri Toida (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans episode animation director) is designing the characters for animation. Masami Ōbari returns from previous Gundam Build anime as action director, while Shinya Kusumegi and Sakiko Uda are chief mecha animators. Kunio Okawara, Kanetake Ebikawa, Junya Ishigaki, Ippei Gyōbu, Humikane Shimada, Kenji Teraoka, Shinya Terashima, and Takayuki Yanase are the mechanical designers. Studio Naya is in charge of the background art. Hideakira Kimura is composing the music. Bandai Spirits is credited for planning cooperation, and ADK is credited for production cooperation.
