Tsukiuta The Animation 2 Anime Reveals April 2020 Delay, Visuals

The official website for the Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION anime franchise revealed the April 2020 television premiere for the Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION 2 sequel anime on Saturday. The sequel was previously slated for this year. The website also posted two poster visuals announcing the premiere date and featuring the units Six Gravity and Procellarum:
The website also announced that the Soara Let It Be -Kimi ga Kimi Rashiku Aru Yō ni film will have a standard Blu-ray Disc edition with the "Aliel" music video, and a limited Blu-ray Disc edition with a special disc with about 500 minutes of making-of footage and other bonuses.
The unit Growth will hold its own "A.L.P Ver. Growth" event on June 14 at the Tachikawa Stage Garden to mark the venue's grand opening. The six TsukiPro performers who worked on "The Wizard of twins Lico & Gli" and "LicoGli" projects with Ezaki Glico's Pocky snack brand will formally combine under the unit name Swiiiiiits! starting in April 2020.
TsukiPro's infinit0 duo and Sun Promotion Entertainment's (SunPro's) new duo Tobari are teaming up to form a unit for the X Lied Project in 2020. The infinit0 duo is also releasing two drama CDs, and people who pre-order them at Animate stores can apply to attend a live public recording session on February 15. The second Animate Cafe in Ikebukuro will start hosting an Ikebukuro Tsukino Tei collaboration cafe on December 1.

The anime will feature a new staff and studio. Yukio Nishimoto (The Galaxy Railways, Justeen, Music Girls) is directing the anime at Children's Playground Entertainment (Cerberus). Natsuko Takahashi (Hakyū Hōshin Engi, Norn9, Poco's Udon World) is in charge of the series scripts. Michinori Chiba (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) and Ai Yokoyama (Space Battleship Tiramisu, Usuzumizakura -Garo-) are adapting Jiku's original character designs for animation. Fujiwara (MOVIC) is again credited with the original work and original story draft.
The staff also announced that the anime will take place in real time in 2019. This differs from the 2016 first season, which began the story in 2013.
Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION is the television anime of a music and original drama CD series about anthropomorphized months. The franchise centers around the Tokyo idol unit Six Gravity (composed of characters representing December to May) and the sibling rival unit Procellarum (composed of idols born in Western Japan and representing June to November).
The first television anime season premiered in Japan in July 2016. Funimation streamed the series as aired in Japan, and then offered it on Blu-ray Disc in September 2017.
The anime is part of a larger Tsukino Talent Production (TsukiPro) franchise. The franchise has also spawned the TsukiPro the Animation television anime based on four of its other groups: SOARA, Growth, SolidS, and QUELL. The anime premiered in October 2017 and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired. The anime is getting a sequel.
