Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Games Head to Xbox One in 2020

Square Enix announced during Microsoft's X019 event on Thursday that it will release the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue games on the Xbox One in 2020.

The company will also release the Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster, Final Fantasy XII THE ZODIAC AGE, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy XV games for the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. The games will be released sequentially beginning in 2020. Square Enix previously released all the Final Fantasy games listed above for the Xbox One.

Square Enix released Kingdom Hearts III on January 25 in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and on January 29 in the West. The game had shipped more than 5 million copies worldwide, including digital sales, as of February 5, and is the fastest-selling title in the history of the franchise.
