Ani-One Streams New Sakura Wars, Gleipnir, Sing 'Yesterday' For Me, The Millionaire Detective Anime

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Friday that it will stream the Sakura Wars the Animation (Shin Sakura Taisen the Animation), Gleipnir, Sing "Yesterday" for Me, and The Millionaire Detective - Balance: UNLIMITED (Fugō Keiji Balance: Unlimited) anime.

Gleipnir will not be available on the YouTube channel in Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei, but will instead be available through the Dimsum video-on-demand service in those regions. In addition, Sing "Yesterday" for Me will only stream in the Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Timor-Leste territories.

Sakura Wars the Animation already premiered on Friday, and Ani-One is already streaming the anime's first episode.

Manabu Ono (Sword Art Online: Alicization, The irregular at magic high school, The Asterisk War) is directing the anime at Sanzigen. Tatsuhiko Urahata, who collaborated with Ono on the Saki and Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere anime, is in charge of series scripts alongside Ono. Kōhei Tanaka, the composer for much of the music of the game franchise (including the new game), is composing the anime's music.

The anime's character designers include Masashi Kudo (Bleach, Hayate the Combat Butler! Cuties), Takuya Chanohara (sub-character design for BanG Dream!), and Tatsuya Fukushima (animation director for Citrus). Fumihiro Katagai (Show By Rock!! Short!!, Princess Principal), Kanta Suzuki (Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars, Buddy Complex), and Mika Akitaka (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, City Hunter) are providing the mechanical designs. Mika Pikazo is designing the Moscow Assault Force characters. Katsunori Shimizu (Magical Girl Ore, Ikki Tousen: Extravaganza Epoch) is the sound director.

The television anime of Sun Takeda's Gleipnir manga already premiered on Sunday, and Ani-One is already streaming the anime's first episode.

Gleipnir follows typical high schooler Kagaya Shuichi after he discovers that he can turn into a cartoon dog with a gun. Yes, you read that right. Kagaya, after finding that one of his classmates is trapped in a fire, discovers that he can turn into a dog with a giant gun. He saves the girl, and the two share the knowledge of Kagaya's secret.

But Kurea Aoki has other motives. She's on the hunt for her family's killer—her sister. Just how far will she go for retribution? And at what cost to Kagaya?

Kazuhiro Yoneda (Yona of the Dawn, Kabukibu!) is directing the anime at Pine Jam. Shinichi Inotsume (The Price of Smiles, PERSONA 5 the Animation) is supervising the series scripts, and Takahiro Kishida (Baccano!, Haikyu!!) is designing the characters. Ryōhei Sataka is composing the music. H-el-ical// (former Kalafina member Hikaru Masai) is performing the anime's opening theme song, and Mili are performing the ending theme song "Ame to Taieki to Nioi" (Rain, Bodily Fluids, and Smell).

Takeda launched the manga in Young Magazine the 3rd in October 2015. Kodansha Comics publishes manga in English.

The television anime of Kei Toume's Sing "Yesterday" for Me (Yesterday o Utatte) manga already premiered on Saturday, and Ani-One is already streaming the anime's first episode.

The coming-of-age story follows a university graduate named Rikuo who has not been able to find permanent employment after college, a mysterious woman named Haru who has a pet crow, and Rikuo's former university classmate Shinako.

The series will have 12 television episodes, plus an additional six episodes that will only be available via streaming.

Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (GJ Club, New Game!, Plastic Memories) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo. Jin Tanaka (Laid-Back Camp, Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode, Cinderella Nine) is penning the scripts. Junichirō Taniguchi (Natsuyuki Rendezvous, Tada Never Falls in Love) is designing the characters. Masanori Tsuchiya (New Game, Tada Never Falls in Love, Azur Lane) is the sound director. DMM.futureworks is producing the project.

The television anime of Yasutaka Tsutsui's bestselling detective novel Fugō Keiji (Wealthy Detective) will premiere on Fuji TV channel's Noitamina programming block on Thursday, April 9.

The story follows the incredibly wealthy Daisuke Kanbe (Yusuke Onuki) who audaciously solves cases in unconventional ways. Whereas Tsutsui serialized the original novel from 1975 to 1977, the anime moves the setting into the modern day. Kanbe is assigned to the "Modern Crimes Task Unit" — a unit created to keep problematic officers away from others. There, Kanbe becomes partners with Haru Katō (Mamoru Miyano).

Tomohiko Ito (Sword Art Online franchise, ERASED, Silver Spoon, Occult Academy, Hello World) is directing the anime at CloverWorks. Team B.U.L is credited with drafting the story, and Taku Kishimoto (ERASED, 2019's Fruits Basket, Haikyu!!) is supervising and writing the series scripts. Keigo Sasaki (ERASED, The Seven Deadly Sins) is designing the characters, and Yūgo Kanno (Psycho-Pass, Ajin, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable) is composing the music. The technology and science website Gizmodo Japan is credited with "gadget coordination" for ensuring that gadgets are realistically portrayed in the anime.
