Additionally, a "mini anime" episode with an "academy x ingenuity x suspense story" will also stream online every week on the main anime's website and Twitter account.

Crunchyroll is publishing the manga digitally in North America, and it describes the story:

An academy on an island in unnavigable waters. There, students trained tirelessly, to fight back against the enemies of humanity. The protagonist, a student newly transferred there, also sets out with the intention of eradicating all enemies of humankind. An unpredictable, intellectual suspense story of justice and evil.

Shinji Ishihira (Fairy Tail, Log Horizon, Tokyo Majin) is directing the anime at Bridge. Fumihiko Shimo (Air, Kanon, Clannad) is in charge of the series scripts. Satohiko Sano (Heybot!, Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun) is drawing the character designs.

Looseboy and Furuya launched the manga in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine in May 2016. Square Enix published the manga's sixth compiled book volume on April 11, and the seventh will ship on October 12.

The first episode of the A Sister's All You Need anime will debut on Muse Malaysia's YouTube channel later today at 9:30 p.m. GMT +8, with a new episode every day.

The anime premiered in Japan in October 2017, and adapts Yomi Hirasaka's light novel series.

The show follows the everyday life of Itsuki, a novelist and "modern day Pygmalion" who works day in and day out to create the ultimate younger sister. He is surrounded by various other characters: a beautiful genius writer who loves him, his big-sisterly classmate from college, a fellow male writer, a sadistic tax accountant, and his editor. They're all looked after by Itsuki's perfect younger "step-brother," Chihiro, who has a big secret.

Shin Oonuma (Anne-Happy, Watamote) was the supervising director and Jin Tamamura (Chivalry of a Failed Knight) was the series director at Silver Link. Original creator Hirasaka handled the series composition and scripts. Sumie Kinoshita (Girlish Number) designed the characters and served as chief animation director. Masanori Tsuchiya (Restaurant to Another World) was the sound director and Tomoki Kikuya (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) composed the music. ChouCho performed the opening theme song "Ashita no Kimi Sae Ireba Ii." Aira Yuki performed the ending theme song "Donna Hoshizora yori mo, Donna Omoide yori mo" (From Whatever Starry Sky, From Whatever Memory).

Animax Asia previously aired the anime in Southeast Asia.

Yomi Hirasaka wrote the original Imōto Sae Ireba Ii. novel series, and Kantoku (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) drew the illustrations. The 14th and final volume shipped on February 18.
