Muse Asia Announces Winter 2021 Simulcast Schedule

Muse Asia announced on Facebook on Monday its schedule for winter simulcasts for its YouTube channel. The channel started streaming the second season of the television anime of Fumi Ayamiya's Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen (Otona no Bōguya-san) manga on Friday at 9:40 p.m. IST. The channel will also begin streaming:

• Pui Pui Molcar on January 5 at 5:05 p.m. IST.
• That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (second season) on January 5 at 9:00 p.m. IST.
• I★CHU: Halfway Through The Idol on January 6 at 9:00 p.m. IST.
• Dr. Ramune: Mysterious Disease Specialist on January 10 at 9:30 a.m. IST.
• Kemono Jihen on January 10 at 8:00 p.m. IST.

Alongside India, Muse Asia will stream the anime in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Pui Pui Molcar will not be available in Vietnam and Brunei. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will not be available in the Philippines and Singapore.

The company had previously announced that it will begin streaming the television anime of Toshio Satō and illustrator Nao Watanuki's Suppose a Kid From the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town (Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shōnen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Yō na Monogatari) light novel series on January 4 at 8:00 p.m. IST and the television anime of Hebi-Zou, Tsuta Suzuki, and Tarako's Heaven's Design Team (Tenchi Sōzō Design-bu) "workplace comedy" manga on January 7 at 8:30 p.m. IST.

The second season of Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen began streaming on d Anime Store on January 1, and it will premiere on Tokyo MX on January 8 at 1:00 a.m. (effectively, January 9). The anime will then debut on AT-X on January 13, and it will also be available on other services starting on January 8. The anime will also stream online and in Comicsmart's Ganma! manga app. The season will have 12 episodes of about five minutes (four minutes for main anime) in length each.

The main cast members are reprising their roles in the new season. Junichi Yamamoto is also returning to direct at IMAGICA Lab. and handle series composition. Other returning staff members include character designer Kosuke Iwanaga, dot designer Kyashii, and sound director Yukio Nagasaki.

The anime's staff launched a Fanbeats crowdfunding campaign for the new season. The crowdfunding campaign had no specific monetary goal, and it ended on October 25. Staff will use the funds raised to offset production costs. Rewards for supporters include name in the ending credits, a set of three promotional posters, and the right to appear in the anime itself.

The first anime season premiered in October 2018 and received three new episodes exclusively on d Anime Store in March 2019.

The original four-panel fantasy comedy manga, which runs in the Ganma! manga app, is set in a world of sword and sorcery. The story begins when a young villager named Kautsu comes upon a unique armor shop that only deals with a certain kind of equipment for female adventurers.

Shin-Ei Animation's stop-motion puppet television series Pui Pui Molcar will premiere on January 5 at 7:30 a.m. within TV Tokyo's Kinder TV children's variety program. The series centers on guinea pigs who have become cars (the title word "Molcar" combines "car" with "morumotto," the Japanese word for "guinea pig" and a variant of the English word "marmot"). The series utilizes stop-motion animated puppets made of wool felt.

Tomoki Misato is directing the series, and this marks his directorial debut on an animated television series. Misato is also writing the script, and he is working on the storyboards along with Hana Ono and Katsura Satō. The series' animators include Misato, Ikuko Iwatsuki, Katsura Satō, and Makoto Takano. The artists include Misato, Ikuko Iwatsuki, Katsura Satō, Harune Satō, and Michiko Kaihatsu. Shota Kowatsu is composing the music.

Shin-Ei Animation produces Crayon Shin-Chan and Doraemon, among other titles.

The second anime season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will premiere on January 12 in Japan.

Muse Asia had previously announced that the anime season will stream on its channel but has since changed the debut date. The company describes the season:

A country built by our main character Rimuru and the many monsters who look up to him – the Jura Tempest Federation –, through agreements and trade with neighbouring countries, is the ideal “country where humans and monsters can walk alongside."

Rimuru has a tendency to “feel kindly towards humans”, because of its former nature as a human being ...

However, there is a clear "hostility toward demons" that exists in this world.
When faced with that unreasonable reality, Rimuru makes its choice.

The first television anime of Taiki Kawakami's manga, which in turn adapted author Fuse and artist Mitz Vah's light novel series, premiered in October 2018. The anime specifically adapted and is based on Kawakami's manga adaptation of the original novels.

The anime's second season will run two cours or two quarters of a year. The first cours will premiere in January 2021, while the second cours will premiere in July 2021. Shiba's spinoff manga The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura Nikki Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) will also get a television anime that will premiere in April 2021. Each of these anime were originally slated to premiere three months earlier, but were  delayed due to the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) affecting their production schedules.

The manga has also inspired five original anime DVDs (OADs). The first OAD shipped with the 12th volume of the manga in July 2019. The second OAD shipped in Japan with the manga's 13th volume in December 2019. The third, fourth, and fifth OADs were bundled with the manga's 14th, 15th, and 16th volumes. The third OAD was bundled with the 14th manga volume on March 27. The 15th and 16th manga volumes (with their accompanying OADs) shippped on July 9 and November 9.

The television anime of Liber Entertainment Inc.'s I★CHU smartphone game will debut on Tokyo MX on January 6 at 11:00 p.m., and it will then air on BS11 on January 10.

Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy both seasons, Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart.) is directing the series at Lay-duce. Yoshimi Narita (Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart., DAKAICHI -I'm being harassed by the sexiest man of the year-) is the series' script supervisor. Mina Ōsawa (Given, School Babysitters) is designing the characters. Reiko Iwasawa (Code Geass) is credited for color design, and Yoshiaki Dewa (Gamers!) is composing the music. Liber Entertainment Inc. is credited with the original work, Ailedore Public Relations Department is credited as manufacturer, and Twin Engine is producing the series.

Ryо̄suke Obokata is credited as art director, and Gō Sadamatsu (Macross Frontier) is credited as editor. Yomogiko Murano (Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life) is the director of photography. Masanori Tsuchiya (New Game!) is the sound director.

Liber Entertainment Inc. released the original "love rhythm adventure" game for iOS and Android in summer 2015. The game features 42 voice actors in the main story, performing original songs. In the game's story, a famous talent agency called Ailedore has created an academy called Etoile Vio School to train budding idols. Players play as both a teacher and producer for the students.

The original game ended its online service on July 6. However, Liber Entertainment updated the game on the same day to work offline. This offline version was available until December 13, although players could not purchase in-game Discs or obtain Scouts in it.

A new app titled I★CHU Étoile Stage launched in April, after a delay from fall 2019.

The anime of Toro Aho's Dr. Ramune: Mysterious Disease Specialist manga will premiere on January 9 and will air on Tokyo MX and BS11.

Hideaki Oba (Alice in the Country of Hearts: Wonderful Wonder World, Denkō Chō Tokkyū Hikarian - Lightning Attack Express, Hello Kitty Ringo no Mori no Fantasy) is directing the anime at Platinum Vision (Devils' Line), and Ayumu Hisao (Devils' Line, Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life) is supervising and writing the series scripts. Youko Satou (7SEEDS, Dog & Scissors, Saiyuki Reload Blast) is designing the characters.

Tetsuro Oda (Mushibugyō, Busou Shinki) is composing the music for the anime. Hajime Takakuwa (Kingdom, Twin Star Exorcists) is the sound director. Toshimitsu Kobayashi (Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life, Aoharu x Machinegun) is handling the sub-character designs.

The anime's official English website describes the story:

As long as hearts exist inside people, there will always be those who suffer. When something "strange" enters their mind, a strange disease will manifest itself in their body. The illness, which is called a "mystery disease" is unknown to most, but it certainly exists. There is a doctor and an apprentice who can fight the disease, which modern medicine cannot cure.

His name is Ramune. He acts freely all the time, is foul-mouthed, and doesn't even look like a doctor! However, once he is confronted with the mysterious disease, he is able to quickly uncover the root cause of his patients' deep-seated distress and cure them.

Aho launched the manga in the November 2017 issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine. Kodansha published what it called the manga's "final chapter" in August 2019, but the manga resumed on September 7. Kodansha published the manga's third volume in August 2019. Kodansha Comics has licensed the manga and released the first volume digitally on November 17.

The television anime of Shō Aimoto's Kemono Jihen manga will premiere on January 10 on Tokyo MX, January 11 on YTV, and January 12 on BS11.

Masaya Fujimori (You Are Umasou, Izetta: The Last Witch) is directing the anime at Ajia-do. Noboru Kimura (Amagami SS+, Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!, Gundam Build Divers) is in charge of series composition and scripts. Nozomi Tachibana (Ensemble Stars!, Classicaloid episode director, animation director) is designing the characters. Daisuke Ono, who also plays the character Mihai in the anime, will perform the opening theme song "Kemonomichi." Sayaka Sasaki will perform the ending theme song "Shirube" (Guiding Sign).

The manga starts in a quiet rural village, where many domestic animals die unnatural deaths in a strange incident. To resolve the incident, an odd-looking man from Tokyo who goes by the name "Inugami" comes to the town to investigate. In the town, he meets a young boy who has a mysterious air about him called "Dorotabō."

Aimoto (Hokenshitsu no Shinigami) launched Kemono Jihen in Jump SQ. in December 2016. The manga's 12th volume shipped on November 4.
