Muse Asia Streams Armed Girls Machiavellism Anime on YouTube

posted on by Adriana Hazra
Channel will stream episodes daily until April 30

Muse Asia began streaming the television anime of Karuna Kanzaki and Yūya Kurokami's Armed Girl's Machiavellism (Busō Shōjo Machiavellism) manga on YouTube on April 18. The channel will stream episodes daily until April 30.

Alonside India, the anime is streaming in Bangladesh, Brunei, Bhutan, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Muse Asia describes the anime:

The Private Aichi Symbiosis Academy was originally a high school for high-class girls. When it became co-ed, the girls, out of fear, asked to be permitted to bring weapons to school. When that was enforced, a five-member vigilante corps-like organization called the "Supreme Five Swords" was also formed.

After many generations, the five swords eventually became a group which corrected problematic students, and the academy started proactively accepting such students in order to correct them.

Nomura Fudou was sent to this school after being part of a huge brawl. What will he do when the only options he has after enrolling are being expelled from that school or being corrected the way the rest of the male students there were...by being forced to dress and act like a girl!

The anime premiered in Japan on AT-X in April 2017. Kanzaki launched the manga series based on Kurokami's story in Kadokawa's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine in March 2014.

Hideki Tachibana (BlazBlue Alter Memory, Dragon Crisis!, H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~) directed the anime at the studio Silver Link (Ange Vierge, Dusk maiden of Amnesia). Kento Shimoyama (Bleach, Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals, Servant × Service) supervised the series scripts, and Shoko Takimoto (BONJOUR Sweet Love Patisserie, Chaos Dragon, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus - Festival Eve Full of Swimsuits) designed the characters. Team-Max's Hiromi Mizutani (Hell Girl, Non Non Biyori, Toriko) composed the music at Nippon Columbia.

Miku Itō performed the opening theme song "Shocking Blue." Five of the anime's cast members (Rin's Yūki Takada, Mary's Sayaka Kitahara, Satori's Nozomi Nishida, Warabi's Rina Hidaka, Tsukuyo's Natsumi Hioka) performed the ending theme song "Decide" under the unit name "Tenka Goken" (Five Ruling Swords).
