Ani-One Streams Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut, The Fruit of Evolution, 2 More Anime in October

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Facebook that it will stream the following fall anime:

  • Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut, the television anime of Keisuke Makino and Karei's Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu (The Moon, Laika, and Nosferatu) light novel series, for its Ani-One ULTRA subscribers on October 4 at 7:30 p.m. IST.
  • The television anime adaptation of Miku and U35's Shinka no Mi ~Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei~ (The Fruit of Evolution ~Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made~) light novels on October 4 at 10:30 p.m. IST.
  • MAPPA and Madhouse's takt op. Destiny anime for Bandai Namco Arts and DeNA's takt op. (pronounced "takt opus") project on October 5 at 9:30 p.m. IST.
  • The anime in CyberAgent's CAAnimation label and DMM Games' multimedia project PuraOre! Pride of Orange on October 6 at 8:30 p.m. IST.

Alongside India and Hong Kong, Ani-One will stream all the anime in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Northern Mariana Island, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, Thailand, Vietnam, Fiji, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Nauru, New Caledonia, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Island, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. The channel will also stream Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut and takt op. Destiny in Guam and Seychelles. Puraore ! Pride of Orange will not stream in Northern Mariana Island and Kyrgyzstan.

Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut will premiere on TV Tokyo on October 3 at 12:35 a.m. JST (effectively, October 4). The anime will also air on BS Nippon TV, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and AT-X. The series will stream on d Anime Store, Abema, GyaO!, and other services.

Ani-One describes the anime:

Lev, a boy who wants to go to space, meets Irina, a girl who was selected for experiment.
He is a human, and she is a vampire; he is the monitor, and she is the test subject.
What would their future be like?

Akitoshi Yokoyama (Cutie Honey Universe, Photo Kano) is directing the anime at Arvo Animation. Original novel creator Keisuke Makino is in charge of the anime's series scripts. Hiromi Kato (I'm Gonna Be An Angel, Kobato., Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East) is designing the characters. Yūji Kaneko (Kill la Kill, Spriggan) is the art director. Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Black Butler: Book of Circus, Inazuma Eleven) is composing the music.

The rock band Ali Project is performing the opening theme song "Hi no Tsuki" (Scarlet Moon), and singer-songwriter Chima is performing the ending theme song "Arifureta Itsuka" (A Wonderful Someday).

Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko light novel imprint launched the novel series in December 2016. Sojihogu launched a manga adaptation of the novels on Kodansha's Comic Days website in March 2018, but the series went on indefinite hiatus beginning in January 2019 due to Sojihogu's poor health. The manga has not yet resumed. Kodansha published the manga's first compiled book volume in November 2018.

Makino stated in August that the novels will be published in English.

The Fruit of Evolution ~Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made~ will premiere on October 4 on on TV Tokyo, BS-TV Tokyo, and AT-X.

The protagonist Seiichi Hiiragiis is sent to a fancy world. After he occasionally ate a fruit, he's got evolution!
Plus, on the journey, he finally meets his Miss. Right… a gorilla?!

Yoshiaki Okumura (Antique Bakery, Monsuno) is directing the anime at studios feel. and Children's Playground Entertainment. Hotline is in charge of production. Minami Eda is adapting U35's character designs for animation. Gigaemon Ichikawa (Duel Masters 2017-2019, GeGeGe no Kitarō 2018) is both writing and overseeing the series scripts. Hifumi, Inc is composing the music.

Yoshino Nanjō will perform the opening theme song "Evolution:" and Poppin' Party will perform the ending theme song "Moonlight Walk."

The "animal fantasy" story centers on Seiichi Hiiragi. Though at the bottom of his school's social pecking order, he and his entire school are upended when everyone in the school is transported into another world. Seiichi finds himself alone and approached by a gorilla, who instead of attacking him, proposes to him. At the moment that Seiichi thinks that "I guess a gorilla is fine too," they find the Fruit of Evolution, and when they eat it, their lives are suddenly changed once again.

Miku began serializing the story on the "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" (Let's Become Novelists) website in January 2014, where it is still ongoing. Futabasha's Monster Bunko light novel label began publishing the novels in print in September 2014, with illustrations by U35 (Lapis Re:LiGHTs, Aquatrope of White Sand character designs). Sorano launched a manga adaptation of the novels on Futabasha's Web Comic Action manga website in September 2017.

takt op. Destiny will premiere on October 5 at 24:00 (effectively, October 6 at midnight) on TV Tokyo and its five affiliates, as well as on BS TV Tokyo. Amazon Prime Video will then be the first service to stream the anime an hour later in Japan.

In the world where music has already gone, monsters are born from the darkness. The musicians have to works with the Conductors together, with the powers endowed from the classical master pieces, to defect the devil.

DeNA and Ouji Hiroi (Sakura Wars creator) are credited with the original work. Yuuki Itoh (Granblue Fantasy the Animation, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid) is directing the anime at MAPPA and Madhouse. Kiyoko Yoshimura (Linebarrels of Iron, The God of High School) is handling the series scripts. LAM is credited with the original character designs, and Reiko Nagasawa (sub-character design on Overlord III) is adapting those designs for animation. Yoshihiro Ike (The Great Passage, Dororo, Tiger & Bunny) is composing the music.

In addition to being the character designer, Reiko Nagasawa is serving as one of the chief animation directors with Toshiyuki Kanno. Toru Iwasawa is directing the action. Daiki Harashina is designing the D2, and Takeshi Maenami is designing the weapons. e-Caesar is the art director, and Ayako Suenaga is the color key artist. Mahiro Tamai is directing the 3D CG modeling, and Hideki Ono is directing the 3D CG animation. Akane Fushihara is the compositing director of photography, and Kashiko Kimura is editing. Fumiyuki Go is directing the sound.

The artist ryo (supercell) is writing, composing, and arranging the opening theme song "Takt," which Mafumafu & gaku sing. Mika Nakashima is performing the ending theme song "Symphonia."

The project will also include a game. LAM is drafting the original character designs. Musician Marasy is the "key pianist." The artist yish is in charge of background concept art. Orchestral conductor Hirofumi Kurita is credited as a musical research adviser.

PuraOre! Pride of Orange premieres on October 6.

Takebumi Anzai (Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu, Go! Go! 575) is directing the series at C2C (Harukana Receive, Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu). Touko Machida (DIVE!!, Wake Up, Girls!) is in charge of series composition. Kii Tanaka (Hinomaru Sumo, So I'm a Spider, So What?) is designing characters for the anime based on Craft Egg's (BanG Dream!) original character and costume designs. MONACA (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Garo the Animation) and Yōhei Kisara (Stray Cats; music producer for Love Live! School idol project, Idolls!) are composing the music.

The project's seven main voice cast members will perform the anime's opening theme song "Fai-o Fight!" under the new musical unit name "Smile Princess." May'n performs the anime's ending theme song "Orange."

CAAnimation and DMM Games previously said that DMM Games would develop the game for the project. CAAnimation held auditions for voice actors for the project. The game is titled PuraOre! Pride of Orange: Smile Princess.
