Animax Asia Airs Realist Hero, World's Finest Assassin Anime in March

Animax Asia announced its new anime program lineup for March on Tuesday. The channel will show How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat, A Place Further than the Universe, and Music Girls.

Animax Asia will premiere the television anime of Dojyomaru's How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom (Genjitsushugi Yūsha no Ōkoku Saikenki) light novel series on March 9 at 8:00 p.m. GMT +8, with two new episodes every Wednesday and Thursday. The first half of the anime premiered in Japan in July 2021, and the second half premiered on January 8 earlier this year and is ongoing. The series will have 26 episodes.

Takashi Watanabe (The Slayers, Ikki Tousen, Freezing) is directing the anime at J.C. Staff. Go Zappa (Koihime Musō, Moriarty the Patriot) and Hiroshi Ohnogi (Aquarion, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) are penning the scripts. Mai Otsuka (Shakugan no Shana, Urara Meirocho, The Demon Girl Next Door) is designing the characters. Akiyuki Tateyama (Laid-Back Camp, ISLAND, Senryū Girl) is composing the music, and Jin Aketagawa is the audio director. WOWMAX is credited as producer.

Animax Asia describes the anime:

Based on the light novel and manga series from 2014. After the death of his grandfather, Kazuya Soma is suddenly summoned to another world. The place he is summoned to is the Kingdom of Elfrieden, which resembles a medieval Europe. With his natural rational spirit and modern knowledge, he gradually reorganizes the financial and political system of a poor kingdom by proposing new policies and turn the kingdom's fortunes around.

Animax Asia will premiere the television anime of Rui Tsukiyo and Reia's The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat (Sekai Saikō no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru) light novels on March 11 at 10:00 p.m. GMT +8, with two new episodes every Wednesday to Friday.

The anime premiered in October last year. Muse Asia streamed the anime in Southeast Asia as it aired in Japan.

Masafumi Tamura (Wise Man's Grandchild, The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Two Car) directed the anime at SILVER LINK and Studio Palette, and Katsuhiko Takayama (Two Car, Ange Vierge, The Future Diary) both wrote and oversaw the series scripts. Eri Nagata (Ensemble Stars!, Blade & Soul) designed the characters.

Based on the light novel series, the story of The World's Finest Assassin follows Lugh Tuatha Dé, the heir to a noble family and the titular assassin. In his previous life, Lugh was the world's greatest assassin and upon his death, a goddess decides to give him a new life in another world so that he can prevent its final destruction. Using the memories, skills and experiences of his old life, Lugh endeavors to finally live to the fullest and not be used as someone else's tool.

Animax Asia will premiere the A Place Further Than the Universe (Sora Yorimo Tōi Basho) television anime on March 9, with new episodes every weekday.

The 13-episode original anime premiered in January 2018.

The project reunited the staff from No Game, No Life: Atsuko Ishizuka directed the series, and Jukki Hanada was in charge of series composition and wrote the script. Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Hunter × Hunter 2011, Trigun) is designed the characters and served as chief animation director. Kenji Nakamoto produced, and Madhouse animated the series. Yoshiaki Fujisawa composed the music. saya performed an insert song titled "Uchū wo Miagete" (Look Up at the Universe), and she also performed the opening theme song "The Girls Are Alright!" Voice actresses Inori Minase, Kana Hanazawa, Yuka Iguchi, and Saori Hayami performed the ending theme song "Koko kara, Koko kara" (From Here, From Here) as their characters.

The anime's story centers on high school girls going to the South Pole, "a place further than the universe." They struggle and grow together as they cope with extreme conditions.

Animax Asia will premiere the Music Girls (Ongaku Shōjo) anime on March 9, with new episodes every weekday.

The anime premiered in July 2018.

The anime was based on the anime short that Studio DEEN produced for the Anime Mirai 2015 project. The story follows the protagonist Hanako Yamadaki when she encounters the obscure, low-selling 11-member "C-list" idol unit Ongaku Shōjo. Their producer Ikehashi thinks the unit needs a new member. Together, Ongaku Shōjo and Hanako strive for the top of the music world.

Yukio Nishimoto (Animal Yokocho, Najica Blitz Tactics, The Galaxy Railways) directed the television anime at Studio DEEN. Deko Akao (After the Rain, Amanchu!, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Flying Witch, Noragami) supervised and wrote the series scripts. Momoka Komatsu adapted the original character designs by Matsuri Santa for animation. King Records produced the music.

The original 2015 Ongaku Shōjo short begins when Eri, a girl who likes to stay indoors, meets a mysterious but enthusiastic transfer student named Haru. Eri used to love to sing and Haru loves Eri's singing. The story follows the two during one summer of their high school life as their love sometimes overlaps and sometimes passes by each other.
