Josee, The Tiger and the Fish and Third Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel Film Released Monday

On Monday March 14, Anime Limited will release the film Josee, The Tiger and the Fish on Blu-ray, DVD and a Collectors Blu-ray. The Collectors Blu-ray will include a soundtrack CD of the film, and a 72-page book including interviews and a additional booklet replicating the children's book featured in the film. The set will also include a map of Osaka, highlighting key locations visited by the film's characters.

The story centres on the relationship between Tsuneo and Josee. Tsuneo is a university student, and Josee is a young girl who has rarely gone out of the house by herself due to her being unable to walk. The two meet when Tsuneo finds Josee's grandmother taking her out for a morning walk.

Kotaro Tamura (Noragami, Noragami Aragoto) directed the film. Nao Emoto (O Maidens in Your Savage Season) drew the original characters designs, and Haruko Iizuka (Tamayura, Children of the Whales, Endro~!) designed those characters for animation, as well as serving as chief animation director. Sayaka Kuwamura (Strobe Edge) wrote the script. loundraw (Tsuki ga Kirei, I want to eat your pancreas character design) was credited for concept design. Evan Call (Violet Evergarden, Schwarzes Marken) composed the music.

MVM will release the film Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel III. spring song as a Collectors Blu-ray and a DVD. The Collectors Blu-ray will include a 100-page artbook and a 60-page artbook.

Released in 2020, this is the last part of the Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel film trilogy animated by ufotable. MVM describes the film:

"A young woman named Sakura Matou, with the sins she has committed, drowns in the murky darkness. A young man named Shirou Emiya, who vowed to protect Sakura, works together with Rin Tohsaka and throws himself into the raging battle to put a stop to the Holy Grail War. Illyasviel von Einzbern, as one of the few who knows the truth behind the conflict, confronts her own fate, while Zouken Matou uses Sakura to try to fulfill his own desires."

Anime Limited will also release a Limited Blu-ray of the complete Black Lagoon anime, including the first TV season, the second season (Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage) and the OAV sequel (Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail). Animated by the Mad House studio, the hardboiled crime series began in 2006, following the exploits of a team of mercenaries operating out of a lawless Thailand city. It is based on the manga by Rei Hiroe.

Funimation will release Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table on Blu-ray. This is the third season of the television anime based on author Mamare Touno and illustrator Kazuhiro Hara's Log Horizon novel series. The new anime shares the same name as 12th novel volume.

Syouji Masuda again supervised the story based on Touno's novel series with Hara credited with the original character designs. Shinji Ishihira returned to direct at Studio Deen, and Toshizo Nemoto also returned to oversee the series scripts. Shōji Hata returned as sound director, and Yasuharu Takanashi composed the music again.

The story of the Log Horizon novels begins when 30,000 Japanese gamers are trapped in the fantasy online game world Elder Tale. What was once a "sword-and-sorcery world" is now the "real world." Shiroe, Naotsugu, and Akasuki join together to survive.

Funimation will also release the series Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle on Blu-ray. Viz Media, which publishes the manga in English, and it describes the story:

Sshhh! Princess Syalis is trying to get a good night's sleep. Some shut-eye. Forty winks. Catch some Z's. Long ago in olden times when people and demons lived together in—well, disharmony, really – a demon king kidnaps a human princess and imprisons her in his castle. Bereft, the princess's subjects beat their chests in anguish…until a hero arises to spearhead Project Rescue Our Princess! While waiting for her knight in shining armor, what's an imprisoned princess to do …? Teddy-bear guards with bat wings are all very well, but her dungeon cell is bo-o-o-ring! So, she decides to wile away the long hours by sleeping. Now if only she could get comfortable…and didn't suffer from insomnia…

Mitsue Yamazaki (How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?, Tada Never Falls in Love) directed the series at Doga Kobo (The Helpful Fox Senko-san, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun). Yoshiko Nakamura (Kabukibu!, Hiiro no Kakera - The Tamayori Princess Saga) was in charge of the series scripts. Ai Kikuchi (New Game!, How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?) designed the characters. Sumie Noro (Tada Never Falls in Love, How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? episode director) was the assistant director, and Yukari Hashimoto (March comes in like a lion, Mr. Osomatsu, Sarazanmai) is the composer.
