Aniplus Asia Airs Simulcast of Danmachi IV, Shine Post Anime

Aniplus Asia announced on Monday and Tuesday that it will air a simulcast of Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darō ka IV Shinshō Meikyū-hen, Shine Post, and Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress.

Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darō ka IV Shinshō Meikyū-hen (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV New Arc: Labyrinth) is the fourth anime season based on Fujino Ōmori and Suzuhito Yasuda's Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? light novel series.

The anime will begin running in Japan on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels on July 22, but will also streaming earlier on the Abema service in Japan on July 21 at 11:00 p.m. (10:00 a.m. EDT). The anime will then premiere on AT-X on July 25. Aside from Abema, the anime will also stream on Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney+, among other services in Japan.

The returning staff members include director Hideki Tachibana, series script supervisor Hideki Shirane, character designer Shigeki Kimoto, sound director Jin Aketagawa, musical composer Keiji Inai, production companies EGG FIRM and SB Creative, and the animation studio J.C. Staff. In addition, original author Ōmori is formally joining the anime staff as a series script supervisor alongside Shirane. The performing act sajou no hana contributes the opening theme song "Tentō," while Saori Hayami performs the ending theme song "Guide."

The anime's third season premiered on October 2, 2020 after a delay from July to "October or later" due to the effects of COVID-19. The season ended on December 18, 2020. Aniplus Asia aired a simulcast of the anime as it aired in Japan.

Shine Post adapts writer Rakuda and illustrator Buriki's Shine Post light novel series.

The anime will premiere in Japan in the AnichU timeslot on the NTV channel on July 12 at 25:29 (effectively, July 13 at 1:29 a.m.) It will also run on BS NTV and AT-X.

The anime is part of Konami Digital Entertainment and Straight Edge's Shine Post multimedia idol project, which also includes a game by Akihiro Ishihara (Guilty Gear, Love Plus), a manga in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine, and concerts.

Kei Oikawa (Uma Musume Pretty Derby) is directing the anime at Studio Kai. SPP is in charge of the series scripts. Tatsuto Higuchi (Revue Starlight) is writing the scripts with Rakuda, who is also credited as the author of the original novel series and for conceiving the world view. Yoshihiro Nagata (Macross Delta) is designing the anime characters based on Buriki's original character designs. Yōhei Kisara (Love Live! School idol project) of Stray Cats is producing the music.

Rakuda and Buriki launched the Shine Post: Nee Shitteta? Watashi o Zettai Idol ni Suru Tame no, Goku Futsū de Atarimae na, to Bikkiri no Mahou (Shine Post: Did You Know? The Most Ordinary, Natural, and Unique Magic to Make Me an Absolute Idol) light novel on October 8 last year. The two previously collaborated on the Ore wo Suki na no wa Omae Dake ka yo light novel series that also inspired a television anime.

Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress will premiere in Japan on the TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, and TV Osaka channels on July 4 at 24:00 (effectively, July 5 at midnight), and it will also run on BS TV Tokyo as well on the YouTube, Amazon Prime, U-NEXT, and d Anime Store services in Japan. In addition, "Season 2" will premiere in winter 2022, followed by "Season 3" in summer 2023.

Ryūtarō Suzuki is the series' new director, taking over from Ken Mori, who is now in a chief director position. Satoshi Nakamura is now in charge of the series scripts, replacing Mori and Natsuko Takahashi. Tomokatsu Nagasaku is now character designer alongside Hiroyuki Saita, and is now also a chief animation director alongside Ga Young Park and Hatsuhi Yoshitake (Hiroyuki Saita is no longer chief animation director). Hiroyuki Oguri is the unit animation director. Osamu Masayama is the art advisor. Yuushi Koshida is now credited for 3D CG. Hikari Komiya is credited for color setting. All other main staff members are returning from the previous anime.

Argonavis feat. Nayuta Asahi from GYROAXIA performs the opening theme song "Black & White," which was written, composed, and arranged by FLOW's Take. The unit Call of Artemis (Nana Mizuki, Raychell, Arisa Komiya, and Hinako Umemura as their respective characters) performs the ending theme song "Do the Dive," which was written and composed by Tetsuya Komuro, and arranged by Daisuke Suzuki.

The first season of Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress premiered in Japan in April 2021, and it also debuted on the official Cardfight!! Vanguard YouTube channel with English subtitles. Aniplus Asia aired a simulcast of the anime as it aired in Japan.

The second season of the anime premiered in October 2021, and ended with its 13th episode on December 28 last year.
