The Muse India YouTube channel began streaming the television anime and live-action series adaptations of Moriko Mori and Cota Tomimura's Gal to Kyōryū (My Roomie Is a Dino) manga on Sunday.

The anime premiered in Japan in April 2020. Muse Asia began streaming the second half of the anime on its main YouTube channel in October 2020.

The anime's cast includes Miyuri Shimabukuro as Kaede, Yūko Natsuyoshi as Kaede's friend Yamada, Youki Kudou as Kaede's senior colleague at her part-time job, and Seiichirō Yamashita as Kaede's boyfriend Shōta.

Jun Aoki (Pop Team Epic) served as series script supervisor and series director. Tōru Kanegae was the sound director, Yasumasa Koyama was credited for sound effects, Glovision was the sound producer, and Gin (Busted Rose) composed the music. King Records was the music producer. Kotaro Sudo and Shin Furukawa were the chief producers, and Riko Koarai and Akira Yonezawa were producers. Space Neko Company and Kamikaze Douga are credited for animation production on the anime.

The manga's parallel live-action adaptation had Kotaro Sudo in charge of series scripts, and HALO in charge of production. Entertainer 8467 (Nana Yashiro) plays Kaede in the live-action version.

Mori and Tomimura, a married couple, launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine in October 2018. The manga ended on January 24, and the seventh and final volume shipped on March 4.
