Digital Manga acquires Books Nippan's animation division to form Digital Manga Distribution
Los Angeles, CA - Digital Manga, Inc. has acquired the animation division of Books Nippan. The animation division will be named Digital Manga Distribution (DMD) and will continue Books Nippan's efforts of offering the best Anime at the most competitive prices in the industry. Digital Manga Distribution will continue to distribute Books Nippan's current product line, but will also be introducing more books and products. Digital Manga's close ties with key Japanese publishers, distributors and manufacturers will enable DMD to present customers with a fresh new line of products with great sales potential.
Digital Manga will take over management April 1, 2001. Digital Manga Distribution will run out of the same Carson office and will retain the same staff that made up the animation division at Books Nippan.
