Mikomicon Now Accepting Online Registration
Northridge, July 12th 2006: The Mikomicon Anime, Sci-Fi & Gaming Convention,
taking place at CSUN University in Northridge, California is now accepting online
registration for Con Memberships, the AGMV, as well as the Masquerade.
Scheduled to take place October 13th thru October 15th 2006, the convention will feature special guests, Johnny Yong Bosch, known as the voice of Renton from Eureka Seven as well as Vash in Trigon. Other well known voice actors appearing
are Kyle Hebert, Phillip Wilburn, Zarah Little and Rob Paulsen.
The Mikomicon will also be featuring several workshops hosted by AC Animation.
Con Members will learn Animation, Backgrounds, Illustration and Digital Printing.
A voice acting workshop is also offered. The Voice Acting Workshop is being hosted by Jonathan Klein of New Generation Pictures.
Some of the industry guests include: Geneon, Tokyopop, Mechanized Propulsion Systems, Star Trek Hidden Frontiers, Circle of Seven Productions, Top Cow Comics, Softwire, The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Music and Aspen Comics.
Other activities featured at the Mikomicon are: Table Top Gaming, Karaoke Contest,
Live performances by Lemon Drop Kick & The Random Ninjas, Console and Arcade Tournaments plus an Exhibitors Hall with over 20+ Dealers.
Submissions are also being accepted for the Anime Game Music Video Contest. Applicants do not need to be present to win. All AGMV inquires should be directed to Wesley Hartman at [email protected].
