Yen Press Announces New Licensed Manga Series

SEATTLE, WA (3/30/2013) — Yen Press, the graphic novel imprint of Hachette Book Group, announced today that it had acquired the rights to publish in the English language three new Japanese manga series: Inu x Boku SS, No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!, and Wolf Children Ame and Yuki.

In Inu x Boku SS by Cocoa Fujiwara, the rich and beautiful Ririchiyo Shirakiin moves into the Maison de Ayakashi, where each resident is protected by their own supernatural Secret Service agent. Her parents assign SS agent Soushi to protect her, and while Ririchiyo rebels, it's not easy to shake Soushi off. The first volume of Inu x Boku SS is scheduled for release in October 2013.

No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular! by Nico Tanigawa (WataMote) is the smash new comedy series from Square Enix in which a high school student realizes that her dreams of popularity may be out of reach. The first volume is also slated for an October 2013 release.

Wolf Children Ame and Yuki is the manga adaptation of the award-winning animated film of the same name released in Japan in 2012. In it, a young woman named Hana falls in love with a wolf man and raises their children alone after his disappearance. Publication is slated for early 2014.
