"Naruto" Voice Actor Maile Flanagan To Appear At Grand Rapids Comic-Con

Maile Flanagan, the voice of Naruto Uzumaki on the children's action television show "Naruto," will be appearing at the Grand Rapids Comic-Con on November 21-23.
Maile is best known for her role as the ninja Naruto Uzumaki on the anime series "Naruto" as well as its numerous spin-offs and video game adaptations. She is an Emmy Award winning live and voice actor who has over twenty years of credits to her name.
She does television, commercials, animation and and film and was nominated for an Annie Award for Voice Acting in an Animated Television Program at the 32nd Annual Annie Awards in 2005. Maile won an Emmy for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program for "Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks" in 2006.
Maile has loaned her voice to many other projects including the major films Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs and Rango as well as the video game Final Fantasy XIII-2.
Maile also has a good amount of live action television and film credits on her resume. She is currently performing as Principal Terry Perry on the Disney TV show "Lab Rats" and plays Connie in a reoccurring role on Showtime's drama "Shameless". Maile has also had roles in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Phone Booth, and (500) Days Of Summer.
"Maile is the perfect performer for us," said co-event coordinator Mark Hodges. "Maile has performed an iconic anime voice for over a decade, and she will be a big draw for children and fans of anime. We are excited that she is coming to the Grand Rapids Comic-Con."
The Grand Rapids Comic-Con is a comic book and popular arts convention that will be held on November 21-23 at the DeltaPlex Arena and Conference Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
