Aniplex of America to Release Aldnoah.Zero on Blu-ray and DVD With the English Dub

The First Season of the Popular Mecha Drama Series is coming Starting This July

SANTA MONICA, CA (June 6, 2015) –Aniplex of America Inc. announced at their industry panel at A-Kon (Dallas, Texas) today their release plans and the English dub cast of the popular mecha drama series, ALDNOAH.ZERO on both a Limited Edition Blu-ray and Standard Edition DVD. Aniplex of America Inc. also confirmed that they will release the entire series in a total of four volumes. Volumes 1 and 2 will be released on July 21st and October 27th respectively. Pre-orders for both volumes will begin on June 8th on the official U.S. website (www.AldnoahZeroUSA.com) and be available for customers in North, Central and South America.

Aniplex of America Inc. has also announced that they will be hosting an English Dub Premiere event at this year's Anime Expo. Fans will enjoy the first three episodes of ALDNOAH.ZERO dubbed for the first time in English. A special Q&A session with English cast members including the main cast Matt Mittelman who plays Inaho Kaizuka, Zach Aguilar who plays Slaine Troyard and Erika Harlacher who plays Princess Asseylum is scheduled to follow the premiere.

Since its simulcast premiere last summer, ALDNOAH.ZERO has captured the hearts of many anime fans with its unique story line and dramatic plot twists that kept viewers on the edge of their seats. This is no surprise when considering the creative staff for this series included Director Ei Aoki (Fate/Zero, the Garden of sinners) and Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero) as the original creator. Volumes 1 and 2 will feature the first season of the series (episodes 1-12) with the original Japanese and English audio with English and Spanish subtitles. Both Limited Edition Blu-rays will include bonus contents and materials that any ALDNOAH.ZERO fan would enjoy.

ALDNOAH.ZERO Volume 1 Synopsis

Fifteen years have passed since the Hyper Gate collapsed on the moon's surface. -- A catastrophe known as the HEAVENS FALL-- The war between Earth and the VERS Empire of Mars is now in a cease-fire. The VERS' Princess Asseylum Vers Allusia descends upon Earth as an ambassador hoping to encourage reconciliation while some citizens are not willing to compromise. Inaho Kaizuka, a terran high school student… and Slaine Troyard, who swears his allegiance to Princess Assylum… Their fates cross as both societies watch in horror as a missile crashes on Asseylum's motorcade. This incident marked the beginning of a new war.

ALDNOAH.ZERO Volume 2 Synopsis

While being interrogated under the assumption that he knew something, Slaine remained silent to protect Princess Asseylum, who had saved his life when they first met five years ago. Meanwhile, Inaho, Asseylum and the others head to the United Forces of Earth Headquarters on the Deucalion, as Count Saazbaum prepared to launch his attack. Having learned Count Saazbaum's ulterior motives, Slaine sets out to save Asseylum. The fierce battle on the snowy field build in intensity -- there, Inaho, Slain and Asseylum find themselves in an unexpected situation.
