Aniplex of America to Sell Exclusive Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Artwork Merchandise

SANTA MONICA, CA (December 7, 2015) –Aniplex of America announced today that they will begin sales of three exclusive Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] merchandise through their Aniplex+ online store. These three items will introduce the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Exclusive Artwork line within the Aniplex+ brand and feature the artwork of Tomonori Sudō, the character designer of the anime series. This extremely rare piece was created by Sudo during his live-drawing demonstration at the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Special Event at Anime Expo® this past July. This will be the first time Sudo's art from the event will be available for sale to the fans. The Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Exclusive Artwork line will feature a Cel Frame Artwork, Artwork T-shirts and an Artwork Wallscroll. July 4, 2015—Over 3,000 fans came to the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Special Event at Anime Expo® 2015. The event featured an all-star line-up of guests who all played integral roles in this monumental anime series: Ayako Kawasumi, the voice actress of Saber; Takahiro Miura, the Director; Tomonori Sudō, the character designer; Hikaru Kondo, the animation producer and Atsuhiro Iwakami, the producer. As each guest was welcomed on to the stage, waves of cheers erupted and filled the great main events hall like a series of fireworks bursting in the night sky.

Fans cheered as Sudo surprised the audience with his first ever live-drawing demonstration in the U.S.! As fans watched in anticipation, Sudo displayed his incredible skills with each and every stroke right before their eyes. With every line the scene came to life with the main characters of UBW, Rin, Archer, Shirou and Saber jumping off the page in what could only be described as “magic.” The crowd was captivated as Sudo raised his completed artwork towards the camera. A one-of-a-kind masterpiece was born!
