Persona Rapper Lotus Juice To Perform In NYC
Joins Musical Tribute to Taku Iwasaki
NEW YORK, NY – November 18, 2016 – Anime and video game rapper Lotus Juice will join forces with iconiQ The Soundtrack Orchestra to honor composer Taku Iwasaki on Friday, November 18, 8pm at Littlefield NYC in Brooklyn, New York.
IconiQ The Soundtrack Orchestra (iTSO) presents "SOULJAM," a standing-room only dance party and live concert featuring the anime music of Taku Iwasaki (Akame ga KILL!, Kekkaishi, Soul Eater) performed by a rock band, horn section, and string trio. Electro house DJ LUNATiC will open and close the concert with solo sets incorporating Iwasaki's hip-hop and rock-influenced tracks. Special guest Lotus Juice will take the stage to perform his most popular Iwasaki collaborations including "Bahasa Palus," "OVERDRIVE," and "Psychedelic Souljam" with iTSO. All event attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
Limited VIP tickets are available which include a pre-concert talkback with iTSO's Artistic Director Bobbie Lee Crow III, meet & greet with Lotus Juice, and 1 autographed item. The pre-event VIP session begins at 6:45pm.
Best known for his appearances on the Persona series soundtracks, rapper Lotus Juice continues to be a prominent voice in the hip-hop anime and game community. He has collaborated with Taku Iwasaki on several soundtracks including Black Butler, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and most popularly Soul Eater. He is a frequent guest at Taiyou Con and most recently performed at Otakon Matsuri. Lotus Juice's 2nd album "Carpe Diem" is available for purchase on Amazon, iTunes, and Google Music. "SOULJAM" will be his first concert in New York with iconiQ The Soundtrack Orchestra.
